There are three choices (opposed to the normal 2)

PRO LIFE - "babies are a gift from God, and we should not kill God's creation, than we will be playing God. All humans have the right to life as in the UN's DHR."
PRO COMPASSION - "we generally disagree with the thought of taking human life, however there are extenuating circumstances that have to be taken into account. Otherwise adoption is a viable option."
PRO CHOICE - "the fetus is a part of the body, just like a liver or kidney. The lady should have the right to choose the have the fetus removed just like she can choose to have the kidney removed. Not having this choice is a blow back for feminism."

You left out that people who don't want to be stuck with a child they cannot support or care for should be able to give the child to someone who wants a child or automatically will be paid by those who abhor abortion all expenses for raising and caring for the unwanted child including wages for the labor involved that they are doing involuntarily.

I vote the poll is convoluted. Not all pro life supporters are theist, not all pro choice supporters are feminst, and you forgot the option of...It is none if my freaking business what other people do. Oh yeah...you forgot Sand's option too.

The world is pretty overcrowded. I honestly don't care about abortions. Everybody has to die eventually, why not start early and skip the middleman?

Humanity is trying very hard for that very solution right now. Perhaps they will make you happy by succeeding.

Where's the "PRO DEATH" option?

OK, seriously, a fetus is just a potential human being. And as Atomsk said, there are so many people, we certainly don't need more.

Also, odd that Pro-Lifers also happen to be hawks who have no qualms about capital punishment, warfare and so on.

Because they are concerned about potential humans. Actual humans can be disposed of with no concern.

Yeah I have noticed that SM hasn't posted since the last abortion debate as well.

Anyway I am pro-choice, however not a fan of late-term abortion unless it is a threat the life of the mother. If a woman doesn't want the a baby she should abort it before it becomes viable and able to survive in a incubator to be adopted out.

Abortions can be prevented with proper education and easy access to contraceptives. Religious nuts and whiny moms saying "I don't want my little girl on birth control because it will encourage sex" need to wake up to reality.

Kids are going to have sex anyway, it's best that they know what they are getting into so that they can take precautions.

More acceptance of contraceptives will mean abortions will be less needed.

I would encourage my daughter to have sex, it will make her aware of the world around her and all the joys and sorrows.
If she makes her mistakes when she is young than there will not be as great of a penilty.

Absenance and abortion will both 100% prevent birth.

If she starts making love before puberty, than she can be taught with a base knowlege.

I am pro-choice, but not because it would go against femminism to be otherwise. I just consider the health of the mother above that of the fetus.

Since the fetus is a living human being, I think it's wrong to kill it.
