William Llane Craig is a very well known apologist, and many atheists credit him with a large number of victories.

In fact, a large number think that Craig won the recent debate he had with Christopher Hitchens.

What does this say about apologetics? What does this say about debating, particularly live debating? What do you think about apologetics? What apologetic methods do you think are better or more honest from believers? Is it the case that apologetics must be dishonest?

EDIT: Hmm.... I created my poll rather sloppily. Oh well.

I distrust debates, especially live debates, to settle such matters.

I haven't heard of this Craig fellow before now.

I like the Creation Ministries International form of apologetics fairly well.

Based on my experiences on Christian Apolegetics' Research Ministry, I'd say Apologetics actually does more harm to the Christian cause than it does good.

That's strange, he's one of the better known apologists.
