Is there a reason we locked that thread? It's just poop.

There is no question that the final video was utterly gross. But humor is based on showing how idiotic normally accepted standards can be and the perceptual imagination evoked by the video violated almost every standard of polite society. I did not find it objectionable on the basis that very funny things gain their power by violating norms, a fact the Lenny Bruce capitalized on continuously and it got him into serious legal trouble even though his points were valid criticisms of society. I enjoyed the high discomfort of the video but my opinions here carry very little weight anyway so what the Hell.

Humor, like a roller coaster, is a method of harmlessly threatening people and its objective is fun.

Wow, it got pretty strict in here all of a sudden. I should go. An SNL video got a thread locked?
Or, was it the sneezing fetish link? That was interesting.

If you look at the basic conditions of the site it specifically denies the acceptability of dealing with anal functions. To my taste this seems rather immature but I do not find myself badly hobbled by the ruling.
