Quote:
GIBBSBORO, N.J. - Another unwelcome foreign animal species is causing trouble in New Jersey.

State fish and wildlife officials have found hundreds of Asian swamp eels slithering and breeding around Silver Lake in Gibbsboro.

Four states now have the eels, which can gobble up all kinds of aquatic life.

No one has figured out how to kill off the creatures.

The eels are highly adaptable. They can change sex. They can burrow in mud and survive for weeks without food. They can also crawl over land to other bodies of water.

Officials believe someone may have had the eels as exotic pets and dumped them in the waterway.

Uhoh....Not good!

Thanks Gavin, I'd been looking for that page. I especially like the first German version "Mein Luftkissenfahrzeug ist voller Aale" and the Latin version "Mea navis aëricumbens anguillis abundat."

Before that, you have this ongoing kudzu infestation in Georgia. My uncle always bothers me about that.

lol..IIRC that's all over the US South and the remova/burning of it is a decent portion of many of those states' wildlife/environmental agencies worked and budget, removing or stopping it.

OH GROW GROW GROW!!

WUT R U DOIN?

SMOTHERIN UR FOREST!!

(literally Kudzu does that :P)

as an add-on I was reminded of that "Eels" and "Escalators" game (Rip off of Candyland I think, not sure) the episode of spongebob squarepants where they learn Carlin's 7 dirty words (they don't say it, it's bleeped out! :x )

Regarding the OP, not surprising. Invasive species are EVERYWHERE man! At least it's not viruses travelling the world over!
