Sounds like a typical BS lawsuit to me. A minor (at best) injury pumped up to make it profitable.
I'd have settled for my next meal there being on the house and gotten over it.
It would at least be a good story to tell for years to come.
Hell, maybe they'd even let you have the moose head.

True, it could have been a lot worst but it wasn't. I bet when (or if) they hung that head back up on the wall it's so secure there now that it'll survive Armageddon without falling and even then it's probably not going have a table anywhere near it.

Lesson learned, move on.
