Why iPhone 4Ss' Siri is pro-life is practically beyond me...
....except for a factor i assumed to be true by just glancing over the Yahoo news article where I THINK it said Apple didn't want to associate with abortion clinics through the phone just for the safety of being neutral considering they don't want court issues pouring in after pro-choice vs. pro life or whatev, i don't know. But if you think my opinion is right or wrong or if it's even countable as a fact, please state your opinion. This is something really worth wondering about, in addition to the numerous confusions people have run into just assuming it can do more than you expect or take commands from you when you can "speak naturally into the phone"....as they say.
and on a silly side note, another point of proof that voice activation searches like Siri have yet to progress:
My grandma's friend came over on thanksgiving with her brand new iPhone, same as mine but on AT&T, so she asked Siri 'what is the meaning of life.'
'I believe there's an app for that.'
The adults including me leftover from the night roared in laughter. but what Siri mysteriously skirts around is not a laughing matter.

Can you please expand on this? In what way does Apple not want to associate with pro-choice stances regarding abortion?
It does not sound very good, what you seem to be saying, but I already knew that Apple was a horrible company. The workers who make their electronics have to sign contracts where they agree not to take their lives, due to the slave-like conditions at the factories where their electronics are made -- they are very much for censorship in their App Store (including if you criticize them) -- the iPhones take photos of what you do on your mobile, to produce graphical effects, allegedly, and save the photos in a little folder for hackers to very easily find; same with what you write on it - that's permanently saved, too, for god knows what reason. One can only ask what kinds of data have ended up in the hands of criminals, or special "entertainment" websites, after an iPhone has been lost, sold or stolen. It's incredible that Apple shows so little regard for personal integrity - I guess they, in this way, show what little respect they have for their customers. They also seem to think that US law applies in other countries, as well - hell knows why they are even allowed to sell their stuff, here in Sweden. I guess money talks, quite simply... lots of taxes to collect from good sales.
