The article sounds incredibly reckless with negligible evidence to support it. Just what autistic people need... another reason for people to hate us and abuse us. So not only are we security risks who hack into the Pentagon's computers but we also go on gun rampages shooting children in schools and in our free time look at child porn. Great. Just f***ing great!

It is going to get to the stage that nobody is going to seek diagnosis and will deny their Asperger's just to avoid the negative associations portrayed by the media or reckless articles like the above. Which in turn will mean more of us muddling through life without any professional help. What are they going to accuse us of next? Witchcraft perhaps? Maybe we are all Satan's demons here to destroy the world?

That seems sexist to me.

Not only men look at pornography or even pedophiliac pornography. If it were true that autistic men looked at little girls because it matched their internal maturity level wouldn't the same be true for women? I'd be offended if that was my mother and feel like I was labelled as a potential pedophile.

Temple Grandin needs to get on top of this empirically unfounded senile ranting and do some damage control. Her Mother is not only slandering the entire Autistic community, it can't do anything but hurt Temple's own reputation as well.

I wouldn't contact either of them - again, it's way too much like harassment. As an alternative, you could contact The Daily Beast, leave comments on the article instead to express yourself, or write a blog post stating your feelings or something.

It is very mean to post personal information such as a personal address or phone number that doesn't belong to you on an internet forum.

The numbers do not work.

Taking mostly males as ASD, 1 in 60, 20 in a 1,000 of which 2 have been sexually abused, and some percent of those will also be good with computers, gives a very small group before we get to who may also have downloaded kiddie porn.

Taking a computer to a shop shows a lack of skill, leaving kiddie porn on it a lack of common sense, and if there was a direct connection between viewing porn, and acting on it, people would be having sex in the streets.

A warning to the dumb to not download and save kiddie porn? More a warning to their parents, that computers are evil.

So one woman saying that ASD males could use computers to view porn has discovered the digital age, and Satan Worship.

Back in the real world, as real as it gets, kiddie porn and child sex stings have posted their catch, which was run of the mill NT, If anything, the very social types, Religion and Politics lead by far in child sex convictions.

With some known facts, 95% of child sex is within home, family, close friends, then Teachers, Preachers, and only the small group where children and politics meet.

Then there is the adversion to sex that is noted, not fitting in the NT Social Hedonist sex driven world, there is little chance they would ever get laid.

Real numbers say that 10% or more of children complain of adult sexual abuse, and we know from rape that most cases are not reported. A guess would be a third to half of children, some 30,000,000+.

Then there are the ones who never complain, taking it as a moving number, as being a child takes years, there is a lot of actual sex going on between adults and children. ASDs are over represented on the child side.

Kiddie porn, sex between an adult and a child, are like home movies for millions, who were the child. Putting the memories they have into context as an older person, understanding the behavior of hairless ground apes, is stepping back and seeing the whole. It is also illegal therapy.

It is not to be viewed, spoken of, and they are told it was all their fault.

It is treated like a Sunday School Secret that everyone knows and ignors. It would make God look bad. There is a lot of natural coverup.

Blaming ASD virgins fits the profile. There are hundreds that fit the demographic, old enough to use a computer, dumb enough to download FBI supplied free kiddie porn.

What is being covered up is a third of adults having sex with a third of children. A hundred million may have involvment in that cult.

It must be the fault of visual images, and ASDs.

In Australia, viewing Simpsons cartoon rule 34 porn is a kiddie porn sex offense. In America cartoons are legal, photos are criminal. Some of the actual Simpsons shows are kiddy porn in Australia, parts of Europe, as they contain minors and sexual situations.

Since ASDs also Worship Satan, supply camel feed to Osama, and are three times as likely to tell of sexual assult, the hundred million cult is out to discredit them. They do pick children who cannot complain.

ASDs are top ranked for sexploitation, getting triple the action, and viewing movies like the memories they have of home movies, school, church, revives evidence, and puts the past into context. Father Flanigan's School for Alter Boys is kiddie porn, and the childhood memories of many boys, combined.

From Masters and Johnson we have a baseline of child sex sixty years ago, and since then, children have become more sexualized at a younger age. It was adults that replaced below the knee night gowns with baby doll sleepwear, thongs for first graders, makeup, and Bratz dolls.

I don't think Temple's mom's views really align with the majority population's views. She's 86 years old, she's bound to be somewhat more ignorant and bigoted than the younger population. Probably only about half of the Generation X-ers are ignorant enough to believe that this crap is true. Probably only somewhere between a tenth and a fifth of the Generation Y-ers are that ignorant. If this pattern continues, Generation Z should turn out even less ignorant than my generation, Generation Y. Public opinion of Autistics should improve over time, as the population becomes less ignorant.
