So I had the pleasure to write for the online portion of Spectrums Magazine. Spectrums is a Portland-based magazine focusing on autism. Thee article is the first story on the main page of Spectrumsmagazine.com.

I have also contributed an article for the next issue of the print magazine, which will hit stores between Sseptember 5-9. The magazine is also free to read online. I would love any feedback from fellow Aspies or friends and families.

Thank you. I think it's really cool that people on our side are writing for these magazines and things, it really shows the POV from the other side of the parallax (and, in my opinion, the more important side)!

You know, you may be 14, but you have a voice, too. Spectrums is not the only venue out there. Maybe if you get to typing your own experiences you may find great satisfaction.

Maybe I will, but probably only after (if) I get a diagnosis. I don't want to be that person who sounds like they want to have asperger's (not that there is anything wrong with aspies!). I read your article, by the way, and thought that the analogy you used about how saying asperger's was a form of autism was like saying breast cancer was a form of leukemia was a really good way of explaining the situation.
