Well, aren't young people feeling loved by now? Not only do they have the highest unemployment rate, they're also given the least support AND they are the ones that fund the pension system! Talk about whipping beasts of burden! 8O

In the UK (and many other 'developed' countries) pensioners form the largest proportion of the voting population. Modern politics seems to be little more than just a game about gaining power foremost, with the longer term future of the country or world only secondary. In politics the scum tends to rise to the top.

The Bankers only got a 36% pay rise last year, a couple of them in the following link have only had their pay go up by 15 times their 2009 salaries, now they are obviously doing such a wonderful job with the worlds economies that they deserve much more than this, and this money has to come from somewhere, from your pockets thats where, and if the IMF implement their proposed 10% wealth tax, then they will simply be able to take 10% of everything you own.

Link to FT Bank chiefs pay rises

Of course if you disagree with donating more of your money for the Bankers well being, you could stop voting for any of the political parties they fund and who are therefore beholden to them, parties like Labour, the Conservatives or the Liberal democrats,

You could vote for me instead, I will do what Hungary has done, and kick out the IMF, I will do what Iceland has dome and Indict the bankers, put them in prison and seize their assets as monetary gain from criminal activities.
I will have the British Government issue its own money and lend money for loans and mortgages, interest paid would go back into the tax pot rather than banks profits.

And of course the pensioners are the most easily manipulated voter group in the country, thanks to one half of the press and news media completely ignoring things like the many protests over benefits and housing, and the other half spreading lies about 'scroungers' and huge numbers of non-existant benefits cheats.

If more pensioners were regular users of internet social media, they might notice just how different the real world - as communicated by real people - is, from the outright lies and half truths that are shown in the mainstream, conventional media. That being the media majority owned by the same shareholders as the banks.
