New York mourns you. Much love to you, your family, and the blessed NYC Transit system for their unwavering support in trying to find you. What an awful tragedy and hopefully a mistake never to be repeated, with lessons learned all around. So sorry it had to be your death to wake everyone up.

I've been following this story. Sad.

And for all of us, please keep the family in your thoughts, and if you are a spiritual person, in your prayers, too.

I was afraid that it was him.

My prayers are with his heartbroken family, and for the teen-aged girl who found his body...such an awful memory to carry!

This story is tragic. I read that new legislation, Avontes Law, is being proposed to having tracking bracelets warn by autistic individuals to help in cases of wandering. Not sure how I feel about this though. As a parent, I would do anything to keep my child safe, but I can see potential issues with this.Avontes Law

Look, teens run away from home, get addicted, join gangs, die - it happens across the board. But the tracking device thing is really, really disturbing and should be cause for any autistic people to worry - as our civil rights are being threatened.
