According to an examiner.com article released today, a whistle-blower has come forward who used to work as a scientist at the CDC. He claims that he and his colleagues were instructed to "doctor" findings related to the possible link between autism and the MMR vaccine. One finding showed a 340% increase in autism rates among African-American children who had received the vaccine prior to 3 years of age.

That would be William W. Thompson, Ph.D., who is (was) employed as a researcher http://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2014/ ... danger-now at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

So this is a true story, and not internet BS?
I wasn't sure whether to believe it.
If it's true, I wonder why the larger news networks haven't picked it up? It seems like HUGE news to me. 8O

It seems like CNN trying to verify the story:

CNN iReport is the network?s user-generated news community. This story was initially pulled for further review after it was flagged by the community. CNN has reached out to the CDC for comment and is working to confirm the claims in this iReport.

People should never be surprised when they hear this relating to anything government: "were instructed to "doctor" findings"

CNN reported it http://www.infowars.com/screenshots-of- ... ored-story ... before the report was deleted. One can imagine that the U.S. government doesn't want this reported, and is pressuring mainstream media from writing about it.

Blogger and former news reporter Jon Rappoport reported today http://www.activistpost.com/2014/08/cdc ... -come.html that 200 mothers of autistic children are working with a lawyer to file a class-action lawsuit. He also called on William W. Thompson, Ph.D., to agree to serve as a witness for the mothers.

CNN pulled the video of the Ferguson shooting after it was up on their website for a couple of hours. Its not back yet nor can you find it on their website.

The media outlets are owned by the same fat cats that own the government so there's no surprise there.

That was a CNN iReport, which anyone can make. It's the wikipedia of CNN.

This is currently an unsubstantiated rumor at best. It's pushed by nut job sources like Age of Autism, Natural News, and Alex Jones. Not even Breitbart, Newsmax, Huffpo, etc. are willing to pick it up because Andrew Wakefield telling another lie is not newsworthy.

Isn't The Examiner a supermarket tabloid?

I don't think examiner.com is even affiliated with that. It is tabloid-level info, though.

Only Mr. Thompson can bring clarity to the issue.

Not quite. Every CNN iReport is quickly verified (at least for such things as libel and glaring errors) by CNN editors. The report in question was deleted until it could be verified to the satisfaction of its editors, then republished as it is now.

Like HuffingtonPost.com, Examiner.com encourages citizen editors to provide its online news and commentary. Its readership is 20 million strong. Several of its editors have reported news that ended up provoking governmental investigations (see the Fast and Furious gunwalking scandal). While many or even most Examine.com editors might publish light-hearted human-interest reports, its semi-professional editors are at least as good as government-approved mainstream media.

Jon Rappoport https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Rappoport is publishing updates to his related reports. He has written for CBS Healthwatch, Spin, Stern and LA Weekly, and hosted his own weekly radio show on the Progressive Radio Network.
