Rape culture - child rapist free to go

There will always be deniers that rape culture exists.
I just read about this earlier today, and to my understanding the charge is actually for felony incest; so not only did he rape a 12 year old girl, but that 12 year old girl that he raped (repeatedly, according to the linked article in the local paper) was a close relative (probably his daughter).

Rape culture not only makes excuses for offending like this:

It sends a message that abusers matter far more than sexually abused toddlers. I am sure there are many men who are outraged by the linked case. However I wonder if many of them see it as an isolated judgment, and struggle to see the wider cultural context that represents and reinforces the misogyny which underlays miscarriages of justice such as this.
I can understand that it is painful for many to look at that context squarely. Yet that is what must occur to stop these myths that men can't control themselves and victims aren't really harmed.
If good people do nothing to protest about rape culture judges, are they still good people?
For some people it's less painful to make excuses for the rapist than it is to confront the truth head on. Allowing oneself to understand what horrible things people are capable of doing can be demoralizing.
A big problem with American culture is that children are taught to respect adults unquestioningly. What we should be doing is teaching adults to respect children.
Show some statistics or historical facts, instead of just parroting an internet meme.
Plus I'm not sure what your idea is; but the idea that crimes like rape or murder could ever be eliminated entirely is myopic, since they've always existed in human societies.
So what's your actionable plan from preventing no rape or murder from ever happening again in history?
Do you have any actual workable policy suggestions, or are you just chanting a meme despite having no actual solution to the problem?
Linking articles to back up a point isn't "parroting an internet meme."

Nobody is suggesting this. To discuss a culture where abuse is protected is not to believe you can prevent it from ever happening. These two ideas have nothing to do with each-other.

Nice fallacy: it was here when I got here so it will always be. The world changes, even if your neanderthal opinion does not.
Consent. Big issue in the context of rape culture:

If there was, this wouldn't be news. It would be routine.
Either/or fallacy. Something is either A or B, with no mention that there could be a C, D, or beyond. Truth is rape is to this day still shoveled under the carpet because it's easier for society to not deal with it than it is to actually fix it. That IS the rape culture: laziness in correcting the problem.

Well I've never seen any idea for how to deal with rapists better than what we have now. Everything I've ever seen suggested violates innocent until proven guilty, and that is unacceptable to me.
I am however open to castration being put on the table as a possible punishment for rapists.
Also, keep in mind in this "rape culture", just how many things can you think of that would be more effective at getting you ostracised than you being a known rapist? It's a short list.

I'm not advocating for any law, I'm advocating for the people in power to actually prosecute the law, which isn't the case at the moment, or else we wouldn't have articles like this. Why are you against the law being followed?

Why are you still beating your wife?
Come on, don't do that. Of course I want the law followed. This sentence is a joke. That's why it's news. But you get stories like this occasionally for all types of crime. It's not a rape thing.

It's not a joke, not a joke at all. The article is about the law not being prosecuted, and you think that article is unfair. Why?

Me saying it's a joke means I think it's wrong. The sentence is wrong. The judge is wrong.
Due to discussions like these being mainstreamed, it's becoming a much more visible problem than it previously was. That's how you combat the problem of rape underreporting and rapists being shielded. You pull it out from the shadows.
I think this is a terrible idea, because it doesn't remove power-driven violent desires from rapists. The desires exist but their sex drive has been dramatically weakened. So, it sublimates them to non-sexual areas, intensified given that rage at being castrated. Basically, it's a good way to produce a bunch of Jeffrey Dahmers.
"Rape culture" refers to rapists having social networks who will defend them and not talk, and an all-too-common presumption that the accuser is just lying rather than a fair hearing happening in court.
It doesn't refer to people who are confirmed predators not being ostracized. This happens too to many celebrities who are caught in it a few years after the drama has blown over (e.g. Mike Tyson, Roman Polanski), but it usually doesn't for the general public outside of their circle of friends. So, this is basically a response to something other than what we're talking about.
