Looters Ravaging Manhattan, Iconic Macy's hit

Quote:
As thousands of protesters took to New York City's streets for the fifth night Monday, reports of more looting and vandalism came in just hours before the city was due to impose an 11 p.m. curfew.

Protests moved through the city, with largely peaceful crowds being seen on Madison and Lexington avenues, Times Square, Washington Square Park and in Bed-Stuy, among other locations. The demonstrations have been held every night since Thursday as people voiced fury at the death of George Floyd at the hands of cops in Minnesota on Memorial Day.

But shortly before 9 p.m., reports of looting began to come in on social media.

"I'm up in Midtown now and I'm in the area ...going over towards Madison Avenue, there's been a lot of stores hit in that area and it's really not acceptable," the mayor said during a call in to NY1.

Among stores targeted were Michael Kors, Footlocker, Nike, several phone outlets and Macy's in Herald Square. It's unknown how many were actually broken into and how many people were arrested.

Monday's curfew was put in place after many luxury stores in Soho, including Chanel, Gucci and Bloomingdales, were ransacked late Sunday. NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea estimated more than 400 people had been arrested that night alone

It's really sad some people don't seem to have the same passion to protect lives as saving property. Life is far more precious than property.

1. People have been killed in riots do their lives not matter?
2. They protecting their lives from riots
3. People need money to live, they need businesses to make money, no business no living
4. PeoplE in the community need their medicine and food which is now either stolen or burnt down. And the pharmacy and or grocery store won’t come back.
5. Homes were burnt down. So people are homless probably same people who now don’t have jobs and can’t get food and medicine.

How’d you feel if someone burnt down your home? How’d you feel if their burnt down your work? How’d you feel if they sourounded you and kicked and beat you u til you go unconscious and keep beating you after leaving you for dead? How’d you feel being trapped in a burning building?
How’d you feel if any of the above happen to a love one?
Should we riot over the rioters killing people?
Should the cops riot over the officer killed? Over the officers out in the hospital? Maybe go down and burn more poor low income people’s homes and businesses?

It’s not just f*****g property

Trump walks across Lafayette Square next to the White House yesterday to visit the historic St. John's Church which was set on fire by leftist terrorists.

The same Donald Trump retweeting a video of a white racist with a CATIFA t-shirt slashing a boy on a skateboard
https://theintercept.com/2020/05/31/tru ... te-victim/

The racist was brutally beaten for attacking protestors with machete.

Trump seems to be making himself into a public nuisance instead of a leader

Yeah, it's not about property. It's about treating people with respect and treating them humanely. It's about equality and human rights. It's about systemic racism and oppression, and the fact we need reform. It's about a system that works for the wealthy while it grinds those with a lower socioeconomic status into a fine dust.

Two officers hit by vehicle as Buffalo protest turns violent outside police E-District

Quote:
According to officials, two officers were hit by a vehicle and injured. Police say the "injuries appear serious in nature."

The officers have been transported to Erie County Medical Center.

According to Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz on social media, one officer is a member of Buffalo Police and the other is from New York State Police. He says the driver and passengers of the vehicle are in custody.

According to NYSP, their officer is hospitalized with "serious but non-life threatening injuries."

Police say two people have been struck by gunfire also.

Sorry make that 8 points

The police prosecutor who charged Derek Chauvin with 3rd degree murder also needs to be charged. Watching Van Jones and he said that there is no such thing as third degree murder. It was just made up to protect Chauvin from further investigation.
