You're right though, there's a strong potential that the areas that Israelis ethnically cleansed from the Palestinians would face a similar displacement by the rightful owners returning. They would have to move to territory that Israel has much better claims to, but that's justice. Anything else is a perpetuation of an injustice.
Israel still might face dirty bombs and nukes from Iran.
How are Iran's (potential) actions Palestine's fault?
It's not but Iran is funding Hamas.
Hamas isn't relevant to CD's statement about Iran potentially using a dirty bomb or nuke.
If Iran uses those sorts of weapons, it's Iran's fault, not the fault of any other entity.
Israel doesn't prevent Iran from using those sort of weapons by occupying Palestinian lands.
Israel ceasing to occupy Palestinian lands doesn't make Iran more likely to use those sorts of weapons.
Israel working in good faith with Fatah instead of propping up Hamas and working to ensure Palestine would fail to form a state would have prevented the current conflict. The current situation is entirely the result of policies that Likud and their terrorist forebears chose to pursue.
