(this post is sarcasm BTW and sadly people really do think this way :( )

You don’t brush or floss either because that’s just silly dental propaganda.

Too bad these people won't see how ridiculous and ignorant they sound when they use this logic about COVID and masks.
Yep, you people are a lost cause. keep drinking the kool-aid.

Lol, do you even knowing what drinking the kool aid means?

What you anti masters and covid deniers are doing is dangerous. Nothing dangerous what us "kool aid drinkers" are doing. :P

More like anti-maskers are the kool aid drinkers...since I think the kool aid turned out to be deadly.

Spellcheck edited it, Wampus cat is another name for moonshine here.

Google "Jonestown".
Quote:
"... there was simply no way out that last night, when Jones commanded his followers to drink cyanide-laced punch.  People think they willingly died, but Jones gave them no choice.  They were surrounded by a row of guards with crossbows, and then behind them there was another line of guards pointing guns.  Meanwhile, Jones is exhorting them to come up and drink this potion to take them to the other side.  So, living was never an alternative on that last night.  Most people chose to die with their families, and if they didn't drink it, there were many who were injected with the poison."
Jim Jones was a cult leader who took his followers away from a free and democratic America into the jungles of Guyana to work as his slaves in his idea of a Communist Utopia while telling the people all the lies they wanted to hear, and deciding who lived, who died, and who would be his "wife" for the night (male or female) -- a prototypical Donald Trump in sunglasses and Hawai'ian shirt.

May he rot in Hell.

And neither are you. Most likely you're not a qualified expert on most of the subjects that are discussed here. Along with most everyone else.
At least I cite and rely on the words of qualified experts, and not the blatherings of some fake-tanned blowhard who is more concerned with being a loser than with the number of actual coronavirus deaths under his administration.
I was referring to those who post here.
Would those be some of the same people who express snarky opinions regarding the deaths of covid-19 victims?

To the topic. I'm not bothered by it much. For me the hastle was more about remembering to have a mask with me and remembering to put one on, but I think the habit has settled in. But then again I don't have to wear one all day at work etc.

Yep, can relate here. It took a long time for me to get used to it and stop having my body have a sensory reaction to the masks, and places kept providing masks on trains and stores too. I also kept some in my car, in my purse just for in case I forgot. Keep them all over and have a back up mask always. If you have a car, keep a pack in your car or an extra mask and always leave it in there.

I also got written up at work for not wearing a mask and it didn't matter if I work alone and there is no one around. I don't wear one outside either when I am walking because the sidewalks are not filled with people and I am not wearing one while working in my yard. I also chew on my masks lol so I have turned them into Karen masks and then I have to toss them out.

How do you know we also aren't relying on what the experts say? This is a false assumption to make here assuming we are all listening to the media instead.

Funny how the way he used it made zero sense and it should have been a dead giveaway for me but it took his last response to mine for me to realize. I won't waste my time with that dude anymore.

I'm sick and tired of people in my state not wearing masks.

Quote:
The state of Tennessee is one of the worst regions nationwide for COVID transmission, an infectious disease specialist in Memphis has warned.

Dr. Steve Threlkeld, who works at the Baptist Hospital in the city, has said cases of coronavirus will continue to rise if no changes are made, putting intense pressure on hospital services.

"Tennessee, as we speak, is the number one hot spot for transmission for the coronavirus in the entire world," he said, according to Fox News.

"We're not just high. We are the number one place in the world right now, in Tennessee, for coronavirus transmission. This is not a drill. We are the worst in the world."

The Tennessee Department of Health stated the total COVID case count in the state was 484,285 as of Wednesday, marking a rise of 11,410 cases in a day. There have been 5,668 deaths, an increase of 53 new deaths.

There are currently 2,874 hospitalizations, although there may be more due to a delay in hospitalization reporting.

ennessee ranked second for daily cases per 100,000 people over the past week, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday. Oklahoma was in first place.

However, other data ranks the state as the worst in the U.S. for COVID transmission. The COVID Tracking Project showed Tennessee as the worst state for daily cases per 1 million people earlier this week.

"It's not so much that the foundation has cracked yet but we have a whole lot more load on that foundation chronically throughout this time period and it's not going away," Threlkeld said.

"What we are worried about is what we would face the next month with added difficulties, more cases, more healthcare workers sick and unable to be here, all those things could contribute."

There are 57,599 confirmed cases of COVID in Shelby County, according to City of Memphis data, with a total of 756 deaths so far.

Threlkeld said he and his colleagues had been seeing patients around-the-clock and said health services were under increasing strain in the area.

"I cannot tell you how many people, it's just all day long and into the night, I'm seeing people who are sick and some go into ICU and they say, 'Well I've been good but we had this party the other night and ten people came to the house, and I didn't feel good doing it, I feel it was probably the wrong thing to do,'" he said. "And guess what - it was the wrong thing to do."

He added that the crisis was "more severe" now than when the pandemic first struck.

"The danger is so much larger and the vaccine is so close to bringing us relief from this that we really just need to practice common sense," Threlkeld said. "If we can't do that we're going to find ourselves in a very difficult situation, more difficult."

The state received its first shipment of the COVID vaccine to be used as an emergency backup supply this week. The rollout of the Pfizer vaccine, the first to be approved by the FDA, is the biggest vaccination drive in U.S. history.

Same in Montana, many non mask wearers as well. But then again it is a very rural state and very conservative and so Trumpy. I even saw one of my old school mates saying on his FB wall about "china virus" not being racist and his liberal friend explained it to him why it is racist, it's the context of how it was being used by Trump and my school mate was like "people are being the racist when they make it be racist." Yep, stay ignorant. Stay in denial.

Rural people seem to be in denial about the virus. They think it only spreads in big crowded cities. Many rural families are low income so there are multi-generations in the same house.People that have to work bring it home to their families with deadly consequences.
At first there were very few people wearing masks in the store but now most are. They still let the non-maskers in even though there is a sign that says it’s mandatory.Luckily the store is never very crowded.
