Lukeda420, thanks for clarifying that for me as, I improperly deciphered the article.. A mistake on my part.
Regardless when autistic people are victims of violence this is not the time for NRA go doing a bunch of funding campaigns and spouting out notion that everyone needs a gun so as to prevent such things from happening again.

I'm going to keep an eye on this story to see what tact the media takes as it relates to motivation.

And another thing....where in the hell is the third shooter? No one in the media is asking about that except the guy I listen to on AM radio. From the beginning they said there were 3 shooters and now just the two? What the hell is going on?!

The news reports are often wrong initially with every news agency rushing to get the news on the air. So things get reported before they've been confirmed. The news is never accurate until after everything has calmed down and the details become clearer.

That's wrong. They have several witnesses saying they saw 3 shooters in black. The media isn't asking because then they would start a panic.

Eye witness accounts are the least reliable form of evidence. Especially when something this traumatic happens so suddenly. This happens all the time. Things get misreported in the immediate aftermath. There were reports of multiple gunmen in the immediate aftermath of the aurora shooting as well. So no, what I said is not wrong.

Believe what you want. This is what I think -

"Witnesses told police they saw three men with long rifles,” a law enforcement source told CNN.

I think there are some still at large and it's being kept quiet. They said this guy had a lot of Muslim men stopping at his condo at night making deliveries. I think it's a group and the FBI hasn't found all of them. I don't think it's over by a long shot. (no pun intended)

Btw: They are saying that ISIS is celebrating. If that doesn't make you mad, then I don't know what will. ISIS said they're coming for us and now it's happening. Wake up.

It's possible other incidents may take place. There is still a lot we don't know. There might have been others involved and there might not have been. It's still to early to be sure.

I still say it's best to wait until things calm down before hanging on to any particular detail. The story is still developing and the investigation is still in its infancy. But to each his own.

Quite strange logic...only in America!

Something like 33% of the people on the no fly watch list are on by mistake including an us senator. That's why the right doesn't support banning guns based off that list. Also a few news media and some gov officials have suggest adding all gun owners to the list. Because owning a gun makes you a terrorist now  it's just another tool to take guns for them not actually caring about stopping terrorist. If you put someone on a no fly list just go arrest them. If you think you have enough evidence to take their rights then you should have enough to put them in jail.

The OFAC SDN (specially designated nationals) list formed the base of the original no-fly list. I worked with the OFAC list a decade or so ago - it was and still remains highly inaccurate, because it takes a better-safe-and-verify-than-sorry approach. The no-fly on the other hand is almost ludicrous. I've known advocates for both people with autism and trans people who were added to the list simply for objecting in the media to the way airport security treats them and is structured. In all three of their cases they were very careful to be polite, respectful, etc. while actually going through security - it was only later, in online postings that they dissembled what is wrong with the system (and often contacted the NSA offering to help). In other words, they embarrassed the NSA.

You'd really extend your hatred to an innocent little baby who's done nothing? Because of the actions of his/her parents? Also so far details point to work related conflict and potential islamic extremism mixed in(as far as I know that bit is not confirmed though), not sure they were specifically targeting the 'american taxpayer'.

I was glad to hear they gave the baby to the guys parents or something before committing these terrible acts, rather than killing him/her or leaving him/her neglected in their home.

But really I don't get it you criticize hate on the part of Islamic extremists....yet you're pretty hateful towards all muslims and arabs across the board, isn't that just a little bit hypocritical do you think your hate is somehow more saintly?

Since when did you start reading my mind ? Hateful towards ALL Muslims and ALL Arabs ? REALLY ? You do understand that the term "Arabs" also include Jews and Christians ? What part of my postings indicated blanket hatred towards ALL Arabs ?? WTF do you even know about me or the ethnicities / religions that I can reasonably claim as part of my family background ?

Just because I am not a bleeding heart liberal does not mean that I hate little kids. What part of "taken out BEFORE they procreated" don't you get ? I didn't say that the child should suffer for the sins of his parents, but I do resent that these b@stards procreated and left their offspring to be supported at my expense. Where is YOUR compassion to people who have been victimized by Islamic violence or terrorist activities ? Do you even know what it feels like to lose a loved one in the blink of an eye because a car bomb went off at a crowded market ? Never being able to see their faces again, going to collect pieces of your family or friend's body, because there really is no "body" left, just bits and pieces ? Or having to explain to young, tender children why Daddy or Mommy isn't coming back and didn't kiss them Goodbye before they left ? Oh, I get it... the victims don't deserve compassion, the PERPETRATORS do.

And regarding your claim that this was work-place related violence. Yeah, right... this guy grows a beard, becomes "more religious", prays several times a day, goes off to Saudi Arabia and returns with a woman he met online and starts collecting assault weapons and assembles explosive devices because he has a problem with some co-workers....

Oh, yeah. Sounds pretty convincing to me.

Im not a new member . Perhaps the fact that so many people who aren't part of the Nora say similar things should mean something to you. Mean if 80million people say it why do you just just ignore them and claim their crazy but no no the anti gun side represented by far less numbers isn't crazy they right and perfect. Wrong they'll wrong.

Certainly doesn't prove wee need to adopt the laws all over or make more. Fix the freaking ones you have now before you even think about making more laws about things you know nothing about. If you think a barrel should is the shoulder thing that goes up and down or that magazines are one time use items etc you have no place in making gun laws. The left doesn't like men making laws for women because men can't understand or know that stuff same goes for people who don't know jack about guns trying to make laws.

They try to remain silent and respectful unfortunately the anti gun side doesn't do any such thing and while the shootings still happening use it to push their agenda, this unfortunately means those defending their 2nd amendment rights have to speak up or risk losing all our rights before enough time has passed to respectfully discuss the issue. How about you get your side to wait a few weeks at least before shouting "ban all guns"

If the government actually did want to ban all guns who would do the confiscating? If the police and the military are mostly made up of regular people then who is left to round up the guns?

People are not going to lose their guns. It won't happen. First off there are far too many people opposed to it, including most liberals. Secondly there are over 300 million guns in this country, it would take a tremendous amount of resources and manpower to get them all.

I don't understand why so many gun owners get so defensive. People are not going to have their guns confiscated.

And in order to fix the laws we have we need to make new laws. That's how it works. Just like we have to pass a new amendment to repeal an old one. We need to pass new laws that make adjustments to the old laws.

Nope.. the fight was probably just a ruse. One does not magically find assault weapons or pipe bombs right after a disagreement with a coworker. He had likely been planning it for some time. B@stard.

Neighbours claim that he was always polite but became "more religious" a few years ago, and began to sport a beard, and wear "religious clothing". His father adds, "he's Muslim".

Well, DUH, thank you for that little heads-up, Mr. Obvious.

This is why gun control should be mandatory. Especially if you are a follower of the religion of peace (NO guns for you, if so, not even a hunting rifle).

Cut out the comedy.

You cant deny guns to people because this is America.
AND you can't make laws that discriminate based upon religion because this is America.
Two kinds of impossible.

I hope you are being sarcastic. If not, then it's just sad. Because discrimination happens every single day - maybe not based on religion but maybe due to one's race or one's disability or because of the shape of one's nose !

Nothing really humourous about this incident as my son is a regional centre consumer and this could just as easily have happened at the agency where my son gets "services" from.

More info on the shooters :

http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-m ... story.html

The idiot had - in recent years - met a woman online, travelled to Saudi Arabia and then returned with her.

And they were allowed to amass a stash of assault rifles and were busy assembling explosives and no one knew nothing about it... they were living the "American Dream". The sad thing is that they left behind a baby who is now the state's responsibility. UGH.

Wish they'd been busted and taken out before they had had time to procreate and leave their spawn to be raised by the American taxpayers - who they seem to have hated with quite a deadly passion. B@stards.

None of this changes what I said which is that you can not make a law that forbids one religious group to have guns, but allows other religious groups to have guns, because that would violate both the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and violate the U.S. Constitional Seperation of Church and State.

You could try to ban EVERYONE from having guns regardless of religion (or lack of religion) but that would violate the Constitution as it has been interpreted (right to bear arms)as well.

Therefore Muslim Americans can't be stopped from having the AR15s like every other American "sportsman".

You could try to do end runs around the Constitution- like maybe make some law that folks with passports from nations on the list of state supporters of terrorism can't own guns. That might pass legal muster.
