Let's say there should be businesses run by ASers. That doesn't mean every ASer needs to be running a business. I would tend to see an AS run business as being more of a cooperative without a single person in charge anyway. The implication of this article though seems to be that ASers are some sort of special needs people who need NTs to manage them before they van do anything worthwhile. That I do not agree with.

I think it's great that they are building on strengths instead of trying to force people into the 'normal' mold.

For those of you living in the UK, there are several charitable organisations which help people with "disabilities" (including Asperger's Syndrome) find employment. There is also the employment services agency "Remploy" < http://www.remploy.co.uk/ >, which has branches in many of the major cities. I have never dealt with them, but I know that several of my co-workers originally obtained their jobs via Remploy.
