Where do prisoners get cooking gear?

How the hell did he have a RAZOR BLADE in a prison cell?

I'm unsure of the French prison system, but if you read Jeffery Archer's prison diary, it's very surprising what a convict can smuggle into his prison cell.

Jeffrey Archer used a razor blade for shaving in prison (prison issued shaving blade). He complained about it initially, but managed to get his hands on a Mach 3 Gillette later on.

The French prisons are overcrowded.
For exemple, they were 3 of them in a cell of 11 square meters.
It's very small - especially when the toilets are in the same room.

After eating the first part raw, he cooked the rest with fried onions. He had everything he needed to do that.

So they are going to keep this guy in prison for another 30 years.

Gee... I wouldn't want to be his next cellmate.

^ I found the above slightly offensive. Or do we need to post how many unconceivable acts have been perpetrated in the USA BY their fellow americans? Fact is, we have deranged people all over the planet, deal with it. -.-

So this means if I ever try deer meat, I know what a human lung tastes like. 8O

Goes both ways doesn't it? :P But meh, it depends from one human to the next, since we don't all have the same tastes (or react to the same tastes in the same way, except for the extremes).

The difference is that the USA doesn't provide their deranged inmates with the sufficient culinary equipment to saute a lung with onions and garlic. At best, American lunatics might be able to serve it par boiled with pot noodles.
