This is really creepy.

Teenage boys are supposed to have a high level, of testosterone. That's what transforms them into men.

I'd prefer doctors or even random strangers hand these boys a box of condoms & a book on healthy sexual habits (including masturbation) to this "treatment".

This is rather startling, even for the anti-vaccination crowd this goes pretty far. Don't studies like this, especially if they involve children, have to approved by the FDA and/or DEA? I really would question the ethics of anyone crazy enough to give that substance to child.

Interesting that they focus treatment on guys. What about girls? Isn't there an anti-estrogen therapy available? This smacks of gender bias.

This has nothing to do with the boys' developing sexuality, and everything to do with perpetuating the mercury-myth.

Truly, the mind boggles.

Probably b/c girls don't typically get as "horny" as boys, so they don't really have an excuse for anti-estrogen. Either way it could have devastating physical developmental affects.

The government is trying to take away every aspect of humanity that could aid in a revolution. They've moved on to testosterone. We can only imagine what they'll move on to next. The end result is that humanity will be a bunch of mindless, docile sheep.

How about giving that shot to high school bullies, instead. Anybody who picks on handicapped children, should not be able to procreate.

hell no, that zero tolerance crap makes it so they can't really punish only the bullies they have to punish the bullies and anyone brave enough to stand up to them.(besides eugenics shouldn't be a government power)

Yikes, that seems a bit extreme to use a drug known to chemically castrate sex offenders on an autistic person. Regardless of the results that this woman is seeing from her son's treatment...

That's true, parents don't want to think of their developmentally disabled teens as sexual, but they're also likely to be sexually abused as well as being falsely accused of something when they didn't know how to behave appropriately, or that masturbation is only to be done in private.

People blame Hitler for his eugenics program and sterilizing the "mentally ill".

But how many people know that he got the idea from America and England where the practice was widespread in the early 20th century?

I don't see the problem at all with chemical castration for men or teen boys with Asperger or Autism. After all, almost no men with Asperger ever get girlfriends or have sex.

Girls and with Asperger are rarely interested only in a casual relationship or one-night-stands, like most Aspie men and boys are.
They want to be normal, they want friends, a boyfriend and kids. Men just wants sex.
