I like peacocks and their "hey you" calls. I used to feed them out of my hand at the zoo. It hurt sometimes but it was worth it and they didn't do it intentionaly. Sometimes you could even find feathers along the paths if the zoo people didn't get to them first (they sold them all dingy and beat up for five dollars a pop in the gift shop). One of my father's friends had a neighbor who had a lot of freeroaming peacocks who turned his yard into the "it" place to hang out if you were a peacock. He was always giving my mom and I the feathers he found. I'd much perfer a peacock infestation to a people infestation. "Hey you, hey you, hey you" I could get used to.

One problem with peacocks is that they make a noise just like a young lady screaming in terror, but they do look very lovely.

Exactly! My grandparents loved out in the country near a farm that raised them and this was a terrifying sound, especially after I had watched "The Howling" as a kid.

I think their call sounds beautiful. It sounds like they are saying, "Hey you!"

My college campus would be surrounded by Canadian geese. There is a lake on campus too and during the spring time I could see the baby geese. So cute. But yes geese poo all over the walk way.
