News like this always makes me wonder about what really happened to Jett Travolta. (<-- Link)

The Travoltas had religious objections to the use of medications, and were not motivated to kill their son. All indications are that they accepted him and shielded him from scrutiny from other scientologists. However without having him medicated and not having emergency meds at hand, there was nothing they could do to save him in time when he went into status epilepticus. It was foolish of them, but falls short of being criminal.

Wealthy celebrities rarely get charged with "Criminal Negligence" for some strange reason; and if they do, they charges almost never stick ...

Murdering a child that is disabled won't make the mother's problems any better. If anything, it will make them worse. If she is not financially, emotionally, or physically stable enough to care for this kid what makes her think she can cope with being in prison and living with the fact that she killed him?

One should walk a mile in her shoes before becoming so quick to judge.

We know nothing of her circumstances.

We don't know if any services would have been available to her had she sought them.
We don't know what kind of pain or suffering her son is undergoing.
We don't know who is paying for her son's special needs.
We don't know what provision has been made for her son's care after her death, and what her own state of health is.

We know nothing, and yet there are those who presume to call her, "monster." For shame.
