it is not just her, but also sarah palin and herman cain and all the rest of those right-wingers of the silver spoon variety who condescend upon the great unwashed working classes.

Herman Cain. Silver spoon? Here is an excerpt of his early life from the Wiki article:

Herman Cain was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Lenora Cain (née Davis), a cleaning woman and domestic worker, and Luther Cain, Jr., who was raised on a farm and worked as a barber and janitor, as well as a chauffeur for Coca-Cola president Robert Woodruff. Cain has said that as he was growing up, his family was "poor" but "happy". Cain related that his mother taught him about her belief that "success was not a function of what you start out with materially, but what you start out with spiritually". His father worked three jobs to own his own home — something he achieved during Cain's childhood — and to see his two sons graduate

He was the son of hard working good folks and made his own way in the world. You can very well disagree with with politics and even economics but to not ever imply he was handed anything.

See if any workingman today can work three jobs to own a home. Especially since the stack is decked against low income home owners today.

Well of course they can't you can thank your beloved Democrats for that.

And the Democrats are responsible for the AIDS virus, and earthquakes.

-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer

I'm not going to blame Democrats for something they aren't responsible for... They are responsible for the welfare system that is designed to keep poor people in poverty.

So the welfare system exists only to keep people poor, not to keep them fed and housed. Like poor people were doing so well prior to welfare.

-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer

Herman Cain is where he is today because his family wasn't on welfare.

Good for him. But who says that people on welfare have to be trapped in that life, like insects trapped in amber?

Who created the "welfare system" and with the best of intentions? Herbert Hoover tried but failed. But your buddy FDR succeeded.

By the way, before the war started in Poland, the Nazis had one of the best "welfare systems" in the world. No one lacked work. That is why the Fuhrer was so popular with the Folk.

The 937 souls aboard the ship St. Louis had no cheers for FDR who would not let them in. FDR said no, and back they went to be killed by the Nazis.

See http://www.ushmm.org/museum/exhibit/focus/stlouis/

Even a stopped clock can be wrong 1438 minutes a day.

Undeniably an indefensible act on the American government's part. But what does that have to do with welfare?

Godwin's law. Argumentum ad hitlerum. The Nazis did it so it must be wrong!

Doing something right doesn't mean being perfect or being good, as Kraich has already pointed out.

Vacuous pseudo-wisdom. Trying to equate kraich's analogy about Nazi's with FDR.

Not really. If Hitler had been reasonable (he wasn't) and stopped with restoring German honor from the humiliation of the Versailles Treaty he would have been hailed as the greatest German statesman since Fredrick the Great or Otto Bismark. Unfortunately that is not the way it turned out.

In the end, it proved to be very bad for the Germans as well, as many of them had for a time given up their souls in a Faustian deal with the devil, which had left their country devastated and with a so far tarnished history thereafter.

Problem with your statement is that Herman Cain actually practiced what he is preaching and that's why he managed to become wealthy, through hard work and perserverence. Your attacks on him are completely baseless and without merit.

Yes Herman Cain works a thousand times harder than anyone else,
