Actually it's not. People who are disabled and can't work are broke and very poor. Plus being limited sure isn't fun.
If you´re truly disabled then you won´t live large, just like you said. There´s only money in it if you claim you´re disabled and can´t work even though you have a job, or at least some other income.
I work 50%, that´s my limit, and I earn less than what you get if you´re unemployed. So there are no cadillacs in it for me, just a rusty old bike.
There are jerks who take advantage of the system, but that doesn´t justify starting a witch-hunt against people who already have it rough.
All of my money goes to a care company who look after me. I only get £30 a week when you take the care money away. I would hardly call that living in luxury! I too only have a rusty bike. The care home has a car but the back door is hanging off!
