I'm sorry, but I believe the element of coercion feeds upon itself.

Maybe so, but naked gays are hardly the only ones. My father-in-law is an alcoholic right wing gun nut who thinks the Republican party can do no wrong, and trust me, he pushes it in your face at any opportunity. That's one of the reasons why my wife and I don't see him anymore.

For some reason my husband thinks public nudity is a good way to celebrate a Crimson Tide win. He's ran around the block naked, and climbed on the roof naked. Screaming "WoooooHoooooo Roll G*d*mned Tide!" the whole time.

The nudity is mostly in the Castro district,they are very "colorful" there,like a rainbow.

I'm glad. Now I can make the pilgrimage to where Harvey Milk lived and take my boyfriend along without worrying he'll see some beautiful naked California girl and want her, go home and fantasize about her while he's with me - or worse, she thinking she's going to try to talk to him.

Love this flak on bodies, shame and self-esteem.

Why is this option seen as negative? What's so horrific about our bodies and all the different shapes and sizes that by law we should cover them; and the flak that Muslims and other religious people suffer from by covering up? There is no sexual element to simply not wearing clothes, that is simply a mindset warped by porn, lies and low self esteem. The part about the children is so warped it's unreal, how else are they ever going to learn that our bodies are different and having odd parts or shapes here or there is completely natural and normal?

Clothes only serve as function to keep us warm and to keep within our warped morality.

I'm not saying we should all live and work naked, but the option should be available for all.

Aside from the sex-morality-Bible aspects of public nudity, do you really want to sit on a bus bench or park bench or sidewalk cafe' chair where someone has been sitting on their bare butt?

There is a serious hygiene issue here.

The gym requires everyone to bring a towel and to use it, for a reason.

Ever see a wet stationary bike seat?

Think about that park bench seat; the previous occupant was not even wearing Spandex or sweat pants.

It is not all sweat, either.

I apologize if my comments are a bit 'Adults Only', I am trying to be as tactful as possible regarding the potential body fluid contamination nightmare.

And I am grossed out when I see someone spit on the sidewalk!
