But why just kilts? Men should branch out and explore skirts. I would think they would be far more comfortable.

If I was a man, working in an "suit needed" job, I´d definitely be happy, if I could wear shorts during summer.

Shorts would be okay at work but not in a matching suit with tie.

I think it's the fashion company scamming the buyer out of the bottom half of a pair of pants.

If I buy a pair of dress pants I want the whole pair of dress pants - not just the top half! :D

Do you know what the difference is between a kilt and a skirt?

If you are wearing underwear, it's a skirt.

Of course, for some public performances, they wear underwear anyway.

I remember hearing about someone trying to make kilts acceptable wear for postal employees, but nothing came of it.
