We found it! But it broke the machine, so we cannot confirm without a several year rebuild, and funding to for payroll.
Research reaches an "almost there" status every time Grant Funding runs out.
As for creating Dark Matter, also called Imaginary Matter, and in IT, Vaporware, it is The Quest for Endless Funding.
So far, this has been a very expensive Fairy Tale.
