The sensationalist media and Democratic partisans who are histrionic bordering on seditious definitely should take a look at themselves over their use of extreme violent rhetoric. There has been an environment created where assassination is is openly talked about and we have seen literal fighting on the streets even. Knowing violence begets violence, the continued progression & escalation of political violence in this country is highly disturbing. I think there may be some very dark times ahead, I am very afraid of what the future might bring.

I won't dive in to the Left/Right divide, but there is violence in the air.

I think this incident has changed the game a little. I guess someone could open fire anywhere, for any reason. This is just a fact of modern life.

But that Congressmen were deliberately targeted in this manner is really scary.

The Founders and the Enlightenment were seditious, against a petty tyranny.

The sjw's are nihilists, against a nothing. They have no ultimatum or purpose.

I tend to believe what Pike said.

My slu*ty cousin goes straight for a book, in the middle of the 1990's bookstore. (This is not in some gross, curtained-off, adult area.) And, Madonna is pictured, having sex with a gas pump.

What is she actually protesting, if not normativity.

Why in the hell were they playing baseball, instead of working on we, the people's business? I don't condone the shooter's actions, but I can understand why he did the deed. Maybe it's time the people re-evaluate our form of government and vote in people who will actually work for us, instead of the oligarchs.

Yes, I also heard that the gunman asked if they were Republicans or Democrats, practicing. My first thought, was: "Oh----I wonder if it was yet another Democrat, suffering, greatly, from "Trump Derangement Syndrome" (except, in the opposite way, of course - meaning, AGAINST President Trump / Republicans).

My thoughts as well. The media, late night shows and such are feeding and stoking this fire as much as possible.

BS.

GOP social welfare policy, specifically, healthcare reform is going to make millions suffer and thousands die. It is inevitable that someone would try to return the favor.

If both parties don't stop with the extremism and start serving the common good this will start happening more and more on both sides.

By the way, political violence started after Trump's election with all the hate crimes committed against Muslims and Jews. There's plenty of blame to go around on both sides here.

The Left: doing its part for the common good by torching a car owned by a Muslim immigrant.

They do it, every year, for charity (for disadvantaged kids, in D.C.), and I feel that's a GOOD thing!! Also, they play against the Democrats; so, it's not a one-way thing, here----and, they practice BEFORE work (according to one of the news shows, I was watching this morning - I can't remember which one, as I was switching back-and-forth).

It would be instructive to contrast press treatment of this attack with that following the attack on Rep. Giffords in 2011. At that time an article in the NYT stated:" Ms. Giffords was also among a group of Democratic [sic] House candidates featured on the Web site of Sarah Palin’s political action committee with cross hairs over their district . . . ” I missed the New York Times’ and the Democrat Party’s mea culpa today.
It would also be nice if somebody on the left, somebody with a shred of credibility, would stand up and denounce campus violence, hate-speech, F-bombs by Gillibrand and Perez, idiots like Griffin, and all general vitriol masquerading as free speech.
I hope this event reduces the MSM and Hollywood hatred for Trump, at least a while. We need a break from the hatred

7AM is before working hours. It is not uncommon to have company teams or things like that as a way to let employees relieve stress.

That is not going to happen. Anarchy is pretty profitable for the media.

I would not hold my breath waiting for the media to call this a terrorist attack either.
