I think, response fatigue, the jamming of useful channels and useful venues, the damage of morale, with no constructive or socially-redeeming purpose, is properly an example of terrorism.
I have found, in common household accidents, we were unable to read safety information for a consumer product, in spite of millions of online search results. This kind of speech discourages people from supporting the economy, and doing constructive chores, in the light of day. That's a 5th column -- sabotage, against the country.
I am not a rote conformist, in most respects, but see the infrastructure, including channels of communication, as being valid and having a right to exist, unmolested and unvandalized. Imaginary scandals taking the place of needful citizenship is an example of vandalism.
