Can imagine what his dentist would say...
Yeah, s/he might say "This is why you were dentures, Donald."

Uhh, it's relevant when it's the POTUS, because:
That amount of diet coke is definitely not healthy for anyone & the health and well being of the POTUS is relevant not only to American citizens but the entire world because if his body & brain aren't functioning properly due to his diet, he could be more likely to make poor, irrational, or impulsive decisions that could literally cost lives.
Further, 8 Hours a day of watching TV? Being POTUS is a nearly 24/7 job, and at least nearly all waking hours. It's ABSURD that the POTUS would spend 4-8 hours a day, every day, watching TV instead of doing his job of running & leading a country of over 300 Million people. He's not sitting at home with the flu, laid off from work, retired, or on vacation. How should this NOT be a concern?
There's nothing that substantiates the claim that Trump drinks 12 cans of coke every 24 hours every day of the week.
I'm sure other presidents have had a TV with the news playing somewhere all day long.

It's actually quite plausible. I know a person who gave up alcohol (like DT) and was hooked on diet coke - drinking like 10 cans a day

I very highly doubt it. All previous American Presidents have been too busy doing their job to watch 4-8 hours of TV per day, nevermind having one on in the background all day. This is unprecedented - that's why it's newsworthy.

i think if don had remained as dentures instead of metamorphosing into an oompa loompa sometime in the 1990s, it would actually be an improvement.
all of them? bush? you sure?
i really don't think there's any way to know for sure. there's a big difference between having it on at the background while doing something else, and sittting in front, giving it your full 'attention".

Oh, come on.. the guy is a reality TV show host & is obsessed with the media. He gets his news and daily info from TV news shows/entertainment programs. This has been the topic of literally dozens of news articles over the last year so it's pretty common knowledge that the guy watches a LOT of TV, especially for someone who is supposed to be busy running the entire USA.

I'd expect a president to have the news going. Even my dad has the news going a lot of the time while he's working.
But the mental image we are supposed to have is that the president is sitting around in his underwear eating McDonald's and drinking Coke while watching Apprentice reruns all day instead of doing his job.
What can I say, I know blatant smear tactic nonsense when I see it. There are legitimate problems with Trump, but that gets drownd out in an ocean of nonsense like this. It's called overkill.

Why would you expect the President to have TV news going? Almost all info is coming at him faster than cable news shows. The only exception would be some live breaking story, and then it would be brought to his attention by some aide or something. Trump doesn't watch to learn anything, anyways. He watches because he's obsessed wth his own ratings and what TV news as entertainment show hosts are saying about him.
No offence to whatever work your father does, but he is not the POTUS and not in charge of a country of over 300Million people nor considered the leader of the free world. It's inconsequential if your father gets distracted by TV while he works. If Trump does it, he's not running America. Further, if he reacts poorly to something it could lead to a Twitter meltdown that triggers a nuclear war.
Trump golfs every 5.6 days. He watches up to 45 hours of TV in between golf games. There is no rational justification for that as POTUS. I'm genuinely curious why you support or defend him.. especially given his track record on everything..

I'd be riding that wagon solo even if there weren't anyone else on it because it's the right thing to do. Trump is a terrible human being & the WORST American President in at least my lifetime, possibly in the lifetime of any man alive, and possibly in American history.

Couldn't you afford the man a single kindness? Could you not even bring yourself to admit he has a nice looking set of dentures for godsakes?
He seems to have managed his father's investments even after declaring bankrupt on a number of occasions so we can at least admit he's tenacious

He has a pretty attractive wife, but that's more a compliment to her, not him.
Let's see.. he rips off small businesses he doesn't pay, defrauded his "university" students, launders money for various mafias and international criminals, evades taxes, dodged the draft, is a pathological liar, flip flops on nearly every issue, insults other world leaders, is sexist, is racist, supports his anti-gay politicians, insults indigenous people, insults the disabled... the list goes on and on and on. Donald Trump is an AWFUL human being.

This. All other things aside, even JUST his track record on healthcare & his treatment of people with disabilities you'd think would be enough for anyone on this forum to dislike the guy.
