I live in a rainforest. We average 43.98" of rain per year in the city, more in some nearby areas.

Our electricity is already generated by falling water.. through hydroelectric dams.

It would be more like trying to generate electricity from the drip on your water faucet than from a torrent of water in a hydroelectric facility.
