I think this is a wise tactic honestly. If the administration is tripping over each other while trying to stem the leaks, her investigation will be more thorough. It's only fair to give them some warning so people have a choice to resign rather than implicate themselves in treasonous corruption.

I think Trump is a crook.

While everybody has been yelling "Russian collusion" for the past 2 years I have always thought that if he is going to go down criminally it would over more "routine" corruption similar to how they got Al Capone on "routine" tax evasion.

I am upset that this might not happen because of prosecutorial misconduct. Trump would be both a victim and a criminal. He is the last person I want to successfully play the victim card. Anybody prosecuting him cannot afford to make any mistakes as he is going to have the best lawyers who will play this for all its worth.

Prosecutors do not usually announce in advance targets. The target usually gets revealed when.
1. They are indicted
2. The target reveals they are a target
3. Leaks
4. Related to the above their home or business is raided

Numbers 3 and 4 happen DURING the investigation.

Ms. James announced he was going to be a target before her investigation begins, before she even took office.

LOL, prosecutors frequently announce the targets of their investigations. Lovenothate would be laughed out of court.
