I was never into comic books and I'm sick of superhero movies. There's way too many of them. I mean what's the difference between Batman and Iron Man? Not much. And how many times are they gonna reboot superheroes? Its sad that the comic book industry has to whore themselves to Hollywood to stay alive. Although I shudder to think how Hollywood would fill the massive void if superhero movies never existed. Back To The Future 20 would be coming out right about now.

I think the Indy Comics still have something to offer but unfortunately, the scene is now dominated by Marvel and DC. I'm curious to see how the new version of Hellboy will play next year.

I agree, never much into comic books.

However, it isn't the comic book companies whoring themselves out to Hollywood, it's actually the other way around. The film companies need to make X amount of superhero movies every year or else they'd lose the rights to the characters. (This is also why a direct-to-video Hellraiser installment had to be thrown together last minute).

I miss the IMDb message boards.
