Are you saying the the Iowa caucus results were not discovered on a server in Ukraine two days ago?

And which news source has revealed that?

I have no idea. I thought you knew all about it since you dismissed it so quickly.

Buttigieg is the only major candidate Democrat that TRUMP is beating in polls.

We use Proportional Representation and have VERY long ballot papers as over 40 parties stood in last year's parliamentary election. Each province also had a second ballot paper with some 20-35 parties on each. Yet the count seems to work quite well.

Iowa Democratic Party releases 85% of caucus results but an error forces correction

After all of its struggles to release proper results from the Iowa Democratic caucuses Monday night, on Wednesday afternoon, the party released some mistaken results.

"There will be a minor correction to the last batch of results and we will be pushing an update momentarily," the Iowa Democratic Party said in a tweet, after it had released 85% of the long-awaited results.

Party officials did not say exactly what they would need to correct.

About 45 minutes after the tally reached 85%, the party tweeted that it had corrected the results and released some new ones. That brought the total number of precincts reporting to 86%.

My understanding is that the actual votes and the delegates can be different. Therefore as it is now, Sanders does have more actual votes but fewer delegates.

I also thought that all along the Iowa DNC has said they DO have a paper trail or paper ballots and because of that the question of accuracy should not be a concern.

The problem is that the state of Iowa, one state out of fifty in the U.S., is having difficulty tallying up the votes for this single event involving thousands when in a presidential election, more than one hundred million votes have been routinely tallied every four years... :|

I do think that the establishment, the national parties hate having to have the first primary of the country in Iowa. The Democrat party is a party largely on the coasts. I think they would prefer to have the initial primaries on the coasts. Death knell for Iowa being first is my guess.

Only according to certain news sources, from what I saw from the article.

No I don't, as no legitimate news outlet has made any mention of it. Thus I'm pretty sure it's phony.

App made by Clinton campaign veterans’ firm is behind Iowa caucuses debacle - Los Angeles Times

Quote:
Shadow started out as Groundbase, a tech developer co-founded by Niemira and Krista Davis, who worked for the tech team on Clinton’s campaign for the 2016 Democratic nomination. In January 2019, it was acquired by ACRONYM, a Democratic nonprofit founded in 2017 “to educate, inspire, register, and mobilize voters,” according to its website. ACRONYM’s founder and CEO is Tara McGowan, a former journalist and digital producer with President Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign.

Niemira had previously worked at kiva.org, a San Francisco nonprofit that makes loans to entrepreneurs and others in the developing world, and Davis had spent eight years as an engineer at Google. Shadow’s chief operating officer, James Hickey, also worked in engineering for Clinton’s campaign.

Federal Election Commission records also show payments to Shadow from the Texas Democratic Party, Democratic Party of Wisconsin and Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. Kirsten Gillibrand’s short-lived presidential campaign also paid the company for unspecified software and fundraising consulting.

In the days leading up to caucus night, Shadow’s app was seen as “a potential target for early election interference,” according to the Des Moines Register.

Buttigieg campaign paid firm that developed voting app blamed for Iowa caucus delays - Washington Examiner
Quote:
Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg's campaign contributed money to the technological firm whose voting app contributed to reporting delays in the Iowa caucuses.

Federal Election Commission filings reveal that Buttigieg's campaign gave tens of thousands of dollars to Shadow on July 23, 2019, for "software rights and subscriptions."

Shadow, a technology company that has an investor in the Democratic digital nonprofit organization ACRONYM, was also paid $60,000 over two installments by the Iowa Democratic Party to build an app to help make caucus voting easier and faster for precinct volunteers.

A spokesman for the Buttigieg campaign said it paid Shadow for "text messaging services to help us contact voters."

Sure, there were a few bugs. But everything will work just fine when these same people take over the entire healthcare system, the national energy industry, immigration, banks, and the global climate. Managing all that will work perfectly.

Amid irregularities, AP unable to declare winner in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — The Associated Press said Thursday that it is unable to declare a winner of Iowa’s Democratic caucuses.

With 97% of precincts reporting from Monday’s caucuses, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg leads Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders by three state delegate equivalents out of 2,098 counted. That is a margin of 0.14 percentage points.

However, even as the Iowa Democratic Party’s effort to complete its tabulation of the caucus results continues, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez on Thursday asked the Iowa Democratic Party to conduct a recanvass. That is not a recount, but rather a check of the vote count to ensure the results were added correctly.

Perez sought the recanvass following days of uncertainty about the results reported by the Iowa Democratic Party, which includes technology problems with the mobile phone app used by the party to collect results from caucus sites, an overwhelming number of calls to the party’s backup phone system and a subsequent delay of several days of reporting the results.

The Iowa Democratic Party suggested it may not comply with Perez’s request, issuing a statement that said it would conduct a recanvass if one was requested by one of the candidates.

Further, the party has yet to report results from some satellite caucus sites, from which there are still an unknown number of state delegate equivalents to be won.
