Because it is uncertain how long immunity lasts.

After months of uncertain speculation, researchers have reported their strongest evidence yet that patients recovered from the coronavirus have a stronger, faster immune response if they’re exposed a second time.

These new findings indicated that SARS-CoV-2 antibodies may linger beyond six months of initial infection, and they promote a more effective anti-viral response than that of those who have not caught the coronavirus. It may explain why reinfections have been so rare.

Even IF someone has had Covid And has immunity to it for ~6 months; there are multiple strains and they could still catch a different strain.

Soooo, even I had already had covid I wouldn’t be interested taking a covid cruise. Nope, nope, nope!

Nope, too many people.
I don’t care about all the extras on a cruise like casinos, swimming pools and bars.
This I would do.If I ever go to Europe this will be how.

Typical cruises would be hell for me. But this idea looks interesting. Too bad the one traveling around the Marquesas has 250 people, instead of 5-10.

Yeah, that’s too many. They would want to get friendly and chat.
I’d just want to sit in a chair and stare out to sea or read.

Since announcing the news, a spokesperson for the cruise line told Fox News it's been swept with support and had thousands of people offer to volunteer.

“Royal Caribbean has some of the most loyal guests in the cruise industry, and we have been overjoyed with their interest to take part in our simulated trial sailings," a spokesperson said on Friday morning. "This week alone, we have received more than 6,000 emails, not including the tweets, comments and messages across social media and on our Facebook page we have more than 20,000 individuals that have expressed interest in participating."

Royal Caribbean’s first cruises next year may be short trips to CocoCay, its private island in the Bahamas, according to the report.
