now if you said Iran has sentenced the real Jolie to 10 years in jail, then sure, i can understand that.
Although i perhaps know a bit more of what these privileged white kids born into wealthy show biz families get up to and how much damage they have caused to innocent victims of their sadism and sensationalism.

But all is acceptable when it comes to show biz, global politics and international sadism (including political smear campaigns).

I have no major problem with Jolie, but i do know that the worlds global celebrity A listers do take part in
political smear and propaganda without question, as long as they get paid their big bucks, get to walk down the red carpet and go to the "in crowd" show biz parties.

Righteousness, honestly and Justice are NOT invited.
Slander, gossips and politcal smear campaigners not to mention petty crims with alterior motives are the only people who have a place in these tables at such show biz s..t storms of sadism that they call parties...

personally i find it extremely ironic that an ex-heroin addict and person who is known to endulges in sado masachism with knives, is a fighter for woman's rights against domestic violence....

Not that i condone domestic violence haven been the victim of several domestic violence incidences, but no celebrity
is fighting my corner, instead i have a celeb who gets off on violence trying to pin the tail on the donkey for domestic violence on a victim of domestic violence... Yep. like she ever knew hardships that normal people have to go through on a day to day basis. All very sick. to think that the wealthy white privileged are the spokesmen and woman of such activism.

Like having Prince Harry being the spokesman for the poor.
No offense to Prince Harry but you can understand what bull s**t they practice!

all they need now is for Hitler to fight for jewish rights...
as Charlie brown says... Good Grief!! !!

This is about a totalitarian government locking up women for a decade or more because they used social media.

Yeah it's not crystal clear what law they transgressed? I tend to agree that going viral on social media and potentially "corrupting" innocent (Iranian) minds who might be tempted to show skin on social media (how horrible!) might be why they are being punished.

In Afghanistan they executed two teenage girls who posted pictures of themselves playing music with two men.

Must have resembled this baby.

The horrible thing is the court sided with the husband saying the woman hid her "ugliness". I imagine Chinese men now get their future spouses to sign a prenup stating no plastic surgery

Iran is a theocracy. They transgressed religious laws.

Angelina Jolie is known of having a golden heart; she was seen many times donating for poor kids but she avoids the press as much as she can.

A lot of Westerners posting jokes on here and not understanding what is actually going on.

Imagine if a teenager did a jokey thing in your country and was put in jail for 10 years people. Do y'all not remember the Satanic panic of the 80s. Imagine those teens got put in jail, rather than soccer Mom's just shouting about it on tv.

Well, actually some did. This situation is kind of akin to the West Memphis Three and why the blame was pinned on Damian Echols

Not meaning to be a party pooper, but I've failed to see anything funny about it.

They say she actually did fifty plastic surgeries to her face; and not just make up.

Still, not a crime to be jailed for.

I guess Im responsible.

I derailed the thread towards joking. And then later... I tried to repent and steer it back toward seriousness. But I didnt try hard enough.

Mae Culpa.

Obviously she has the right to post odd and inane pics, and doesnt deserve ten years in the slammer. And this whole thing speaks of something seriously wrong with the Iranian regime.

And in this regional cold war between Iran and Saudi Arabia- when both regimes are competing in PR for the title of "which backward and repressive society is the lesser of two evils"- its a PR point against them, and for the Saudies.

But if she were someone I knew personally it would strike me as an odd thing to do. I mean I might (a) post a pic of myself ...as...a celeb(say Tom Selleck). Or (b) I might post a pic of myself as a zombie, or (c)I might post a pic of a particular celeb (George Clooney, or Tom Selleck)as a zombie. But I wouldnt post a pic of myself...as...Tom Selleck...as...a zombie. Too much wierdness in one picture.

She should not be in jail for it.
Sorry, I just have a dark sense of humor.

Ok so this is what I was looking for. So is there a sura that specifically says promoting zombies is haram?

From what I gather there is no concept of zombies in Islam. I grew up in the 80s, so was aware of the public Christian opposition to all things occult and zombies surely fit into that. I just figured that it was a common theme across Abrahamic religions not to meddle in things of a spirit world nature.

^ The concept of "ghouls" came from Arabia though.
