I never say anything about Trump’s sons.

I only talk about Trump.

What has Trump done for you, anyway? He’s merely the Tweeter-in-chief. He lazed around watching television during the Capitol riots.

Barr is relevant…..quite relevant to this thread….because he contradicts Trump’s claims.

Okay.

I don't see how that has any relevance in questioning speculative accusations and claims that don't add up.

Oh no I'm being called a Trump supporter, I better stop questioning speculative accusations and claims that don't add up.

But you've posted how your taxes had been so low under Trump, how Biden is going to tax you into a cardboard box, and how Trump's stealing of sensitive material was an honest mistake. That isn't support for the guy?

Well it's a fact that I had considerably lower tax payments under Trump. It's also very likely that Biden is going to significantly raise taxes. I notice how you distorted that as me claiming I'll end up in a cardboard box, which you learned from how the media you listen to operates. You likewise made up me saying "Trump's stealing of sensitive material was an honest mistake" when I didn't say that at all. It would be great if you were able to see how you've been taught to misrepresent and distort by the information sources you are glued to. What I actually said was Trump probably simply retained the documents because out of hubris he decided they belonged to him. But I supposed since I'm not going with the narrative that he stole them to sell to the Russian mafia, that still amounts to supporting him.

And for the record, I don't care about being called a Trump supporter or a MAGA or a Nazi et al. That doesn't worry or intimidate me in the least, so it's not going to suppress me, which of course is the whole idea.

As Spock said when accused of not telling the truth, "I exaggerated."
Yes, taxes went down under Trump, but the middle class tax cut was only temporary. That was done in order to garner popular support for the permanent tax cuts for the rich and big business. Will taxes go up for the middle class under Biden? I won't say that definitely isn't going to happen, but as for now the target for taxation seems to be the rich and big business who had been given tax cuts meant to be recycled as business expenses, but have in reality been hoarded in savings accounts. It's not a means to punish the wealthy, but to tax people who won't be hurt by being taxed.

what is it with gopers and their constant [since nixon's day] refrain of "if (theirs and theirs only) president does it, it is always right" thinking? :wall: and to vote for gopers hoping that just because they made the rich largely exempt from taxation, that it will somehow magically help you become rich just like them, i just don't understand that kind of wishful thinking.

I hear a lot about Trump and his sons being accomplices in crime, but somehow Biden and his son are completely separate from each other, and Biden had no connection whatsoever with what his son was doing. That seems to be another case of double standards.

You haven't heard it from me. Please don't think of all the liberal posters here, or all liberals in general, as some sort of hive mind. That couldn't be further from the truth. I am often not in agreement with the other liberal posters here, even if I am less likely to post direct challenges to highlight the differences.

Still, it is easy to distinguish the father-son pairs.

Hunter Biden did not follow his father into politics and has not spent his career working alongside his father, although he does have a history of trading off the family name, sometimes in shady ways,

Trump's sons, however, both followed their father into the family business, have spent their careers working alongside their father, and became involved in politics (although not as office holders) alongside their father. Trump appointed them as official advisors on many executive branch matters, they have a huge political social media presence, and one is highly likely to run for high office in the future, hoping to create a family political dynasty. Plus Ivanka has a history of being the single most influential voice in her father's ear, although you didn't mention her.

They're sold on Reagan's supply side economics, which even George Bush had originally referred to a "voodoo economics." Even though the only people it ever made richer were those already rich, as they've been able to transfer (steal) wealth from the masses and enrich the already wealthy few with it.

If Biden actually taxes the wealthy and I don't end up taking it in the shorts, I'll be impressed.

A drift onto Hunter Biden should also cease.

Both topics are reading as whataboutery here, but if either of them still warrant current interest they should have their own threads.

The topic is "Trump demands new election, or to be reinstated as president" - please stay on that topic.

I don't understand. Trump brought up Hunter Biden in the tweet this thread is about.

"So now it comes out, conclusively, that the FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that, if they didn’t, “Trump would have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.” This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country. REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!"

Hunter Biden is a different topic - feel free to start a thread on him.
