Yes Star wars introduced AI Princess Leah after Carrie Fisher passed. We are waiting to see what they do for the late Ray Stevenson's character of Baylan Scholl. Stevenson passed as well, but his character arc technically only just started.

And don't forget AI Peter Cushing!

Thanks to AI, we've got James Hetfield singing all of Megadeth's biggest hits. Sometimes even at different ages (1986 Jaymz vs. 1991 era Jaymz).

It actually blew my mind > New Hope
But the two things I liked from New Hope was Luke's positive outlook and Darth Vaders voice

Nerdy over-specific comment:

It was actually CGI and mo-cap:

“[ . . . ] Henry provided the motion capture and voice work. A digital model of Cushing was mapped over Henry's performance like a digital body mask [ . . . ]”

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_One

And a good example of the Uncanny Valley

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley

Now returning you to your sober recognition of a fine actor and voice actor.
