I definitely qualify, but I might not get mine because I'm in the process of changing my address. I'm afraid my tax refund might not reach me either. If I do get this money, I'll use it to pay my rent.

That sounds like we even get money if we've never had to file taxes. How do they find you then? Cause I am VERY good at staying off the gov'ts radar... half the time, they aren't even sure I exist.

You don't get a check if you don't file.

I'm probably going to get dental work done, finally.

I already spent it (or the equivalent amount, anyway) on vet bills. My dog got salmon poisoning (he's better now).

I'm getting a CD player and a luggage rack for my car since I do a lot of camping.

Well mine is in savings for now... It might still get spent later.

I had a dream last night that somehow the IRS messed something up and wanted my refund back... 8O

I got the $300, and it's all going towards my upcoming vacation in Virginia, or towards my wedding if I don't spend it on vacation.

No, the one for the smileys which screams "NO WAY!" and scares the bejeezus out of me. I'd pay good money to get that removed.

Anyway, i'm using my newly found income (I was worried that I didn't qualify because I have SSI so I never actually applied, but my mom is finally giving me the $200 she's owed me since last December) to buy myself some more CDs. Or maybe some new t-shirts or a few books.

I hate the smiley one that screams too. I usually put my computer on mute and then forget and wonder why the sound doesn't work next time I go to watch a video! Alex doesn't actually have any control over which particular ads are shown though. He deals with a few advertising companies who put what they want. I think he can select to not have anything highly inappropriate, but that's about all the control he has, I think. I don't really know how it all works, I just know he can't pick which specific ads to run and which not to run, which is unfortunate. I mean, that's why you'll sometimes see offensive curebie ads even! It's based on stats.
