I seen the clip of this on the news, it was terrible.

I just watched the clip and I was real disgusted. The officer telling the guy to calm down. Telling him he is being stupid, etc. Dumb asses.

But this video shows how long it took the officers when they pulled him over. The guy was arguing with the cops and they wouldn't let him go unless he is calmed down. What do they expect when someones animal is choking and is in need of ER at the vet?

They follow me everywhere. And I dislike that.

I feel sorry for the dog. If the wife were in labor,
such velocities might have been excused.

In that case, I'm not being watched.

OK, The Hymlich Manuver works on dogs, due to the shape of the rib cage compress from the sides, sharp and sudden, a broken rib is better than being dead.

If that does not work, use your hand, dogs often get a bone stuck sideways, you can pull it loose with a finger. Giving a dog a bone is asking for trouble.

Massage the throat, firmly, enough to break up lumps, or dislodge an obstruction.

If the post mortem showed a chicken bone, he killed the dog.

I have never heard of a dog choking to death on dog food.

Bad owner, and bad driver.

I did not know you can reach your hand in your dog's throat and pull something out they are choking on until my boyfriend told me that's what he had to do to his dog one time. Perhaps these owners never knew about it just like I never knew.

They probably just panicked and did the best they could. They shouldn't have been speeding and swerving across traffic, but that cop should have shown some compassion. He should have tried to save the dog himself, or escorted them or followed them to the vet and written the ticket while the dog was being treated.

All I know is that the town (which happens to be the one I live in) needs an after-hours vet.

Tim, I'm blind as a bessie bug. I didn't even notice that was near San Marcos!
