I would be making plans to f**k up the lot of them right now if it's weren't for the fact I was baptized Sunday, therefore violence is no longer an option for my consience.

knowing that site, they probably put it on the day after April Fools' because they thought it would take us that long to 'get it'.

Someone please strap a bomb to my head and hit the little red button this is very upsetting to me I can't keep thinking man why the hell am I clinging onto life. I mean after all this is the organization where one of the founding members Suzanne Wright went and promoted genocide of the entire autism community by saying "We’re now playing catch-up as we try to stem the tide and ultimately eradicate autism for the sake of future generations. If we continue our current trajectory, we’ll get there in my lifetime."

They can't make ppl take a cure, and they can't make ppl screen before birth. They can't make ppl do anything. I feel sorry for those who believe their s**t.

Yes but right now parents can do those types of things, and if they believe the lies and so forth the parents could commit those grave crimes.

a woman found out her twenty-eight week fetus had a cleft palate and so she had an abortion, in myoppinion it's disgusting because simple surgery could have 'fixed' the child and regadless, the child would have been fine anyway.

pregnant women can have every test, scan, or extermination they want, it's as simple as that. if a woman finds out she's having a boy and not the girl she wants and it's too late for an abortion what's to stop her drinking enough alcohol to cause a deliberate miscariage?

most people in the world think anything related to mental health is a bad thing and would rather not suffer bringing up a child with a condition, it's a sad truth but with people like 'autism speaks' out there it's only more likely to happen.

i don't think anyone else has, they don't seem to be up for this sort of thing... i did sign the PETA 'got autism' one a while back, could that be the reason i can't sign this one?

I think that if more people write to the UN it would be a good idea.

I think that the UN is a very poorly understood organisation, recently I heard a 15 year old child complaining about the UN all she said was that how the UN failed to deal with genocide and that the UN peacekeeping system does not work.

But there is much more to the UN than peace keeping, there are things such as

WHO (Health)

IMF (Money)

ITU (Radio and Telecommunications)

IAEA (Nuclear and radioactive issues)

ICAO (Civil air travel)

UNICEF (Children)

and more,

While I doubt if the work of the IAEA or IMF will ever interact much with the works of "Autism Speaks", I see a conflict between the WHO and "Autism Speaks". The UN definition of health (defined by the WHO is "A state of physcial, mental and social wellbeing") could clash with the consequences of the acts of "Autism Speaks".

I would urge anyone writing to the UN to point out this fact, and to remind them that "Autism Speaks" does not represent our wishs and concerns.

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

Could be if that petition was made up on the same website. But I am not sure. Maybe one of the techies here could answer that question if they have not already. (I am reading the posts in order here).

Oh f**king rejoice! We are sanctioned by the U.N. Whoopie! The U.N. is a third world kaffee-klatch funded by hard working people in the industrialized countries and run by moochers and aparatchiks.
