They are not violent people----but their words are violent.

Their words are anti-everything (they basically hate everyone who isn't part of their kooky sect).
I wouldn't necessarily take it personally

Truth. The media is just a not-very-smart, poorly educated bunch. Stupid and ignorant.

And instead of exhibiting humility when their incompetence and lies are exposed, they magnify their stupidity by doubling down, every time, and then doing it over and over again.

Now this is justice.

Covington Catholic Teen Sues The Washington Post for $250 Million

Nick Sandmann, the Kentucky high school student at the center of a viral confrontation with a Native American elder in front of the Lincoln Memorial last month, has filed a $250 million defamation lawsuit against The Washington Post. According to a press release from the law firm Hemmer, DeFrank, and Wessels, the suit alleges that the Post “ignored basic journalist standards” and waged “malicious attacks” on Sandmann by “falsely accusing him” of instigating the tense standoff with Phillips. The lawsuit claims the Post's coverage “caused permanent damage to [Sandmann's] life and reputation” because the paper “wanted to advance its well-known and easily documented, biased agenda against President Donald J. Trump” by targeting Trump supporters. The suit further claims the newspaper published “False and Defamatory Accusations,” proving itself to be a “loud and aggressive bully with a bully pulpit.” Sandmann and his attorneys seek $50 million in compensatory damages and $200 million in punitive damages to “teach the Post a lesson it will never forget.” The suit also notes that $250 million is the same amount Amazon founder Jeff Bezos bought the newspaper for in 2013.

In the wake of a short, out-of-context video put up on Twitter about a confrontation after the Jan. 18 March for Life, pretty much everyone in the establishment media and politics decided to condemn a group of minors from Covington Catholic High School.

And then the facts started coming in.

For the most part, users who criticized the teenagers started running to delete tweets and scale back their remarks, if not retract them completely. Some didn’t, and now they could end up in court.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, over 50 individuals who went after the Covington kids and didn’t retract their statements will potentially find themselves in court after lawyers for the most visible of the students “sent letters to media outlets, individual journalists, celebrities and Catholic organizations as the first step in possible libel and defamation lawsuits.”

The letter from lawyers representing high school junior Nick Sandmann were sent to individuals and organizations ranging “from presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren to actress Alyssa Milano; individual journalists including Maggie Haberman, Ana Cabrera and David Brooks; national media outlets like the The New York Times, CNN, GQ and TMZ; and the dioceses of Covington and Lexington as well as the archdioceses of Louisville and Baltimore.”

“The legal counsel representing Nick and his family, Todd McMurtry and experienced libel and defamation lawyer L. Lin Wood of Atlanta, have said they will seek justice for the harm allegedly done to the teen,” the paper reported.

Others who will likely be included in the suit will be NBC’s Chuck Todd, Newsweek writer/full-time weirdo Kurt Eichenwald, Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, MSNBC host Joy Reid and actor/newly minted socialist Jim Carrey.

I've seen second-hand indication/comment-s that press reports referred to him as a Vietnam combat veteran. with that being corrected later. that he.did not see combat...IIRC. Did he himself ever state that he was a Vietnam combat veteran? I guess you have that Empire actor. who allegedly falsely reported a hate crime. up. The first I ever heard of him and his story was when it's truth was being questioned! Didn't he make a police report of the - allegedly, staged - attack. Generally, when someone makes a police report, they times to be believed. Are you going to answer these questions - Or at least, will someone else on your side try?

YouTube terminated the channel Buds131, which was a YouTube channel from Donald W. “Don” Shipley that was dedicated to exposing the stolen valor of military servicemen. It had 232,806 subscribers at the time of termination.

According to a Google web cache archive, the channel was deleted shortly after February 17th, 2019. According to a post on Facebook, Shipley confirms that the channel was deleted on February 21st, 2019.

One of the more recent videos on the channel featured Native American activist, Nathan Phillips, who was touted throughout the media as having been a Vietnam veteran. However, the narrative posed by the mainstream media quickly unraveled as citizen journalists began fact-checking the stories and exposed the lies, which included uncovering the fact that Nathan Phillips was a perpetrator of stolen valor.

CNN is likely to be hit with a massive lawsuit worth more than $250 million over alleged “vicious” and “direct attacks” on Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, his lawyer has told Fox News....

“CNN was probably more vicious in its direct attacks on Nicholas than The Washington Post. And CNN goes into millions of individuals' homes,” Wood told Fox News host and best-selling author Mark Levin.

“They really went after Nicholas with the idea that he was part of a mob that was attacking the Black Hebrew Israelites, yelling racist slurs at the Black Hebrew Israelites. Totally false.

“Now you say you've seen the tape; if you took the time to look at the full context of what happened that day, Nicholas Sandmann did absolutely nothing wrong. He was, as I've said to others, he was the only adult in the room. But you have a situation where CNN couldn't resist the idea that here's a guy with a young boy, that Make America Great Again cap on. So they go after him.”

Wood continued: “The CNN folks were online on Twitter at 7 a.m retweeting the little one-minute propaganda piece that had been put out. … They're out there right away going after this young boy. And they maintain it for at least two days. Why didn't they stop and just take an hour and look through the Internet and find the truth and then report it? Maybe do that before you report the lies.”
