Great, now get India, one of the foremost polluters in the world alongside China, to ban cows. I'll be over here with the popcorn.

No matter what, getting rid of cow farts stays. Even though there are billions of other mammals, those cows have got to go.

You are making what is supposed to be a simple solution sound complected. Besides the plans all drawn out. They are around here somewhere... um I'll get back to you on that.

There are a lot of cows in India because they are considered sacred. So what other wolfman is saying is good luck with making them get rid of their sacred cows.

If anybody tried that, there would be at least few hundred million people on your butt at the same time....

But I believe what is meant----is more like an advocacy of Veganism or something of that ilk----than a "banning of cows," per se.

The theory is that cows produce methane which is destroying the climate. But I agree there is more to it like the vegan aspect and taking down the corporate farming industry.

Ultimately you are saying the solution is to enact global martial law.

And what if those things don't solve the problem? Mandate a half a dozen other limitations on personal freedoms? Hmm.........and what if those don't solve the problem? Mandate more limitations on personal freedoms? And what if those don't work?....

Hopefully you can see why I've said previously that it's obvious to me that "Climate Change" is the most perfect amorphic vehicle for human subjugation yet devised and wrapped in an emotionally charged package.

71% of the world's emissions come from 99 corporations. Which means if you send the government's busibodies to 99 board rooms, you've pretty much addressed the problem without any attention paid to the rest of us.

That is the way I am seeing it also. And it seems those who are proponents of it are blindly going along with it without really knowing what all would be involved. Most I have encountered just want the government to step in and do "something" about it. Like they do not care how it is fixed, just as long as it is fixed. And they do not seem to really have anything to go by regarding that other than reports that are issued.

The solutions I am offering will save our descendants from having to play HUNGER GAMES in real life.

You didn't offer any solutions. You tossed out some notions that were berift of details. I dont think you know what you are talking about. And I suppose in response to that you will toss a couple of links you grabed at me.

I had a small glimmer of a hope after what I said you would give it to me in your own words.

Like I said you (like all the others I have challenged to give the details of how zero emissions is to be accomplished) don't seem to know squat along those lines.

I take a "libertarian" view on it.

I don't want somebody telling me I can't eat red meat, that I can't have sugary drinks----without evidence that both these things will, inevitably, "save the planet."

And that eating red meat, having sugary drinks, having more than one kid per family, and keeping the cows around will inevitably "destroy the planet."

I believe people are usually sincere in their fear that the Earth is potentially on its way to some apocalyptic thing or other---I don't believe most people want to use the "fear of the Apocalypse" as the vehicle to oppress people (aka the "Liberal Conspiracy").

But the "solutions" which will "inevitably" prevent the "apocalypse" does seem to reek of overriding government control over peoples' lives----without "meaning it that way."
