Why does the media keep repeating the lie that Trump said neo-Nazis were "fine people"? Law professor Ann Althouse comments:

It's just like the endless lie that Trump made fun of a reporter's disability. The media knows that if they just keep repeating a lie, people will believe that it must be true.

...You're obviously reflecting an article that appeared on RealCleatPolitics today by a Trump flack/PR person. This article isolates one paragraph. Now, if you isolate one paragraph, it kind of looks that way - I have often thought that the pro-Dixie love statue public display supporters, as much as I disagree with them, are not the same as the swastika-carriers necessarily - But, looking at a larger portion of the nonedited transcript of Trump's press conference on Vox just now, as I did, Trump maybe at leans more towards equating the swastika-carriers with more standard pro-statue people...and tries to distract the discussion by going on and on about sn alleged rampaging " alt-left " that, in the case of Charlittesville, appeared to not be represented at all, IIRC.
ASPart ? Could you please put the relevant few questions of the press conference up, so that we may read the full words?
The writer of that RealClear piece is an admitted Trump PR person. Why did it take her/him so long to do this - what could be called isolating one paragraph out of context?

It's not just the media. It's also the zillions of posts, a lot of which are from foreign countries, on social media repeating it to influence American voters. Even little WP gets inundated with it.

Ann Althouse is a self-declared "right wing blogger" who uses her academic crudentials (like Jordan Petersen) to promote her right wing agenda. She also avoids interviews from her own campus student paper when asked to defend her views

It's really hard for Trump defenders to weasle out of this one. Trump was on blatently recorded on camera mocking the reporter's lack of motor control, knowing full well that the reporter (who asked trump questions before) had a physical disability.

Autistic people who support Trump should hang their head in shame, Trump has a similar level of empathy and emotional feeling for the plight of the disabled that a privileged drunken college frat boy would have. In other words nothing.

I think the Covington kids were lucky given they were sexually harassing teenage girls prior to the incident that there were no corroborating witnesses who could testify what happened prior to the infamous photo

Brett Kavanaugh is also lucky not to be prosecuted.
