Actually I've heard from my fav left wing journalist that Fox has improved a lot recently and was rewarded as a healthy part of your news diet. That is coming from a journalist who admits they used to be horrible. It doesn't really help to prove them to be fake with a string of left wing sources and Wikipedia. I've seen Tim illustrate how false reports can be given credit on Wikipedia.

You create a Wikipedia article. A journalist then creates an article on that article yet doesn't give it's source, as journalists aren't required to, then the Wikipedia article can cite that journalist article then blam, you have a self cited Wikipedia article posing as real information.

A lot of left wing articles claiming Fox is fake news, how shocking, I mean, they are only competition. They seem to claim a lot that isn't real these days, it's been proved time and time again.

There's an interesting article published by a Masters student at Harvard in the "Harvard Crimpson"
https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2017 ... e-reading/

The article should give some heart to supporters of right wing media.
According to Pew Research "Ideological placement analysis" 95% of US media outlets have a left-wing or "liberal bias"

The NY Times relied on big media data to come up with a 85% "chance to win" prediction on the even of the US federal election in 2016 for Hillary Clinton. Despite the most educated "pundits" predictions Trump won the US election. why?

Why did this happen? The student very carefully points to the fact that a disproportionate percentage of Trump supporters were relying on news from the 5% of media classified as "right wing", prominent in that tiny fraction was Fox news, Brietbart and the Washington Examiner. Nobody bothered to check where a large number of Americans were getting their "facts from"

I think in this respect Trump's selection of Steve Bannon was a clever move to tap into this voting bloc completely ignored by the MSM. The crucial point in the article is that While Harvard professors may denigrate these sources (Breitbart and Fox) as "intellectually" inferior, given their increasingly popular appeal and reach, ignoring them misses the full picture.

The path towards a robust and functioning public discourse involves an understanding of many diverse voices and viewpoints in America. This is exactly my point since 2016, nobody is addressing the elephant in the room, why do so many white Americans believe these few fringe sources??

With the banning of hate speech on social media, Breitbart and Fox should also be on a watch list. But more importantly research should be done why white Americans fall for these news outlets in the same way why erstwhile educated Germans fell for the "intellectually inferior" propaganda of the Nazi party? The people in the western world are not as developed as they would like to believe.

That sounds like a lot of propaganda in itself. What a racist assumption also, white people aren't the only ones who watch Fox, seems everything the left says has to do with racism, funny. I got my information from a very honest left wing journalist. Fox is the nazi propaganda, lol, yea, that's most certainly not a left wing spin. There are many examples of left wing journalists lying time and time again, yet they are supposed to be the 'only ones you can trust', i seriously doubt that, in fact, I know it's not true.

It's strange you would say the article is propaganda? the student is basically saying what right wingers in the US (particularly the ones who hate social justice warriors) have already been saying for years that they don't have a voice in the MSM?

Actually they do...Fox and Breitbart is MSM for almost half of white America

Lies upon lies upon lies upon lies. That's what the media is. They even admit it: they don't do reporting, they do "messaging" to promote leftist lies to the public.

Well this is a positive development for decent people against the corrupt and criminal media.

Judge reopens Covington Catholic teen's $250 million lawsuit against Washington Post

A federal judge in Kentucky has reopened the $250 million defamation case filed by a Covington Catholic student against The Washington Post after dismissing it in July, allowing the lawsuit to proceed but narrowing its focus.

U.S. District Judge William Bertelsman agreed to permit discovery on three of 33 allegedly libelous statements in The Post’s coverage of the Jan. 18 incident pertaining to teenager Nicholas Sandmann. The Post has insisted that its reporting was fair and accurate.

All three flagged statements from the newspaper’s coverage refer to Omaha Nation elder Nathan Phillips being blocked or impeded by Nicholas, a student at Covington Catholic High School, during their viral encounter at the Lincoln Memorial stairs.

“The Court will adhere to its previous rulings as they pertain to these statements except Statements 10, 11, and 33, to the extent that these three statements state that plaintiff ‘blocked’ Nathan Phillips and ‘would not allow him to retreat,’” Judge Bertelsman said in his Monday order.

“Suffice to say that the Court has given this matter careful review and concludes that ‘justice requires’ that discovery be had regarding these statements and their context. The Court will then consider them anew on summary judgment,” he said.

Attorney Todd V. McMurtry, who represents the Sandmann family with attorney L. Lin Wood, called the judge’s order a “huge victory.”

Covington Catholic Student Nick Sandmann Gets Good News In Lawsuit Against NBCUniversal

A federal judge in Kentucky ruled on Thursday that a $275 million lawsuit from Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann against NBCUniversal can proceed in court, the third lawsuit from Sandmann that the judge has allowed to proceed.

“U.S. District Court Judge William Bertelsman dismissed parts of the lawsuit while allowing discovery on allegations that the network’s coverage defamed the teen by reporting that he ‘blocked’ Native American elder Nathan Phillips in a Jan. 18 encounter at the Lincoln Memorial,” The Washington Times reported.

Wouldn't get too excited for the Covington brat getting his greasy racist little hands on other people's hard earned money

Gotta love the massive hatred shown towards this "tender age" kid. Of course there could be objections without all the ugly seething hatred attached, but nah. And funny seeing richest man on earth Jeff Bezos' $108 billion dollars being referred to as hard earned money.

I don't see the comparison? Bezos is a businessman like many of your heroes in the GOP, he obtained his wealth via legal means.

Sandmann is trying to get his hands on other people's money

Bezos owns The Washington Post. He probably makes $250 million an hour. Just think it's funny you acting incensed over someone with $108 billion dollars having what you're calling his hard earned cash taken from him.

More analysis from Cornell Law Professor William Jacobson:

All three Nicholas Sandmann lawsuits to go forward — WaPo, CNN, NBC

The leftist media thugs are used to being able to lie and destroy people while suffering no consequences whatever. It's past time for that to change.
