Looks like Fnord and Krafti owe John Powell and apology.

That was a preliminary report.

Later on, it was stated that while the van tested positive for explosives, that no explosives were found. Five people were arrested, apparently, and detained for 71 days. They were Israeli nationals who were celebrating what occurred at the WTC, then were stopped on the New Jersey Turnpike. It was alleged that at least two of them were members of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. They were deported back to Israel without being charged.

Look on the website a911truth.com for the possible resolution to this. I’ll confirm the correctness of this web address. There’s a lawsuit out pertaining to this incident.

I’m not apologizing because I never accused John Powell of lying.

It happened on the Jersey Turnpike, not the bridge.

He called me a liar, in fact.

It was a preliminary news report. They didn’t get the details right yet.

This might add fuel to the fire, in fact, for JP’s hatred of Israel. It’s not something I wanted to do.

They were also talking about the possibility that 50,000 people died at the WTC....3,000 actually died.

Honestly, I had no intention to denigrate John Powell as a person.

A difference of opinion, or an incorrect fact, is not a lie. If I convey an incorrect fact, I am not lying. I just didn’t get my facts straight. I did not deliberately seek to mislead someone.

I don’t feel that John Powell deliberately meant to mislead me; therefore, it would be wrong to call him a liar—and I didn’t.

I feel bad if he was offended—but no offense was meant.

They were arrested on the George Washington Bridge. I didn't bring up Israel or some 9/11 kook site, you did. Then accuse me of bringing up the event because of my hatred of Israel.

I also apparentley also owe an fictional apology because I was the first to point out and give proof that there was no incident on the george washington bridge.

Had they been arrested on the george washington bridge the bridge would have been closed or guarded by state troopers.I was in the Bronx on september 12th 2001 the day after 9-11 and the G.W was clear and I was also on the New Jersey turnpike and it was clear.

what you read was a preliminary news report at a time when N.Y.C was on egg shells,it is no indication that a news report was given then taken back

Gave evidence? The assertion that the bridge would be closed down is your own idea. They just arrested the men and took them into custody. There's an FBI report.

The sooner more posters come to this conclusion the better, you're wasting your time trying to reason with posters who insist on being unreasonable.
