That graph shows an increase in global warming!

Go back and read it more carefully. I clearly noted that the graph was of the temperatures after they had been adjusted. Of course they show an increase -- that's the entire purpose of the manipulation.

In other words NASA is lying along with EVERY scientific organization in the world.

That is our "debate" in a nutshell. You believe that Brietbart is correct and there is a worldwide conspiracy against the oil industry.

1. You believe that NASA is lying.
2. You believe that EVERY scientific organization in the world is lying, because they say that AGW is real and a threat.
All I said was that you think that they are lying because they are part of a conspiracy. Are you saying that they are all lying on their own for different reasons? *
Anyway, you are obviously a troll. I give arguments and all you can say is "grow up."
* Do you realize how unlikely it is that EVERY scientific organization in the world would tell the same lie for different reasons? Actually, a conspiracy involving all the scientific organizations in the world ( tho obviously such a vast conspiracy is not even a remote possibility) is more likely then all the scientific organizations in the world just randomly picking the same lie. I honestly can only see those two options ( a conspiracy or every scientific organization in the world randomly chose the same lie) being explanations as to why ( in your belief system) EVERY scientific organization in the world is lying. Seriously, what is your explanation as to why you believe that EVERY scientific organization in the world is lying and falsifying data?

More troll behavior. Why can't you answer a simple question?* Since you believe that NASA falsified data and was lying and that EVERY scientific organization in the world is lying about global warming, why are they lying? Is it a conspiracy or are they all telling the same lie ( that AGW is real and a threat) just by random?

* and why was it rude to ask it?

So asking why you believe something is immature?
You claimed that NASA was falsifying data.* I simply asked why they are lying and why every scientific organization in the world is lying. You accuse people ( NASA etc) of lying and then when asked if they are lying as an individual organization or as part of a conspiracy , you accuse me of being immature. I suppose when one has no legitimate answers one is only left with name calling.

* Which I proved was not true.

Either NASA and EVERY scientific organization in the world is lying or there is AGW and it is a serious problem.
Since you do not believe that AGW is a serious problem, or even a problem, it follows that you must believe that NASA and EVERY scientific organization in the world is wrong.
There are two possibilities why someone is wrong,
1. They are stupid.
2. They are lying.
Since it would be ridiculous to claim that the entire scientific community ( NASA. NOAA, American Meteorological Society, Royal Academy etc.) is stupid, that leaves option 2, that they are lying.
Therefore, if AGW is not a serious problem, EVERY scientific organization in the world must be lying. If you are consistent in your beliefs you must believe that EVERY scientific organization in the world is lying. I find that to be a ridiculous belief.

You keep claiming a 97% consensus that Global Warming presents a threat to mankind and ignore the fact that the only consensus is that man is responsible for at least some small part of Global Warming.

While there is no scientific consensus that Global Warming is a disaster, there is plenty of non-scientists in a panic declaring it to be a disaster.

Global Warming is Real! Today was tee shirt warm, last week I wore a coat!

If someone on their way to the store to get beer has an accident, it was Alcohol Related.

Science does lie every time they make a statement based on partial evidence. So does everyone else.

The main thing that is wrong with Climate Warming Zombie Trolls, is they make it hard to do anything about it.

The political look for someone to blame, so they can sell protection.

The Pulpit says it is The Devil, having to open the Gates of Hell wider, to make room for the influx of homosexuals.

To me the Keystone Pipeline is good for our best neighbors, the ones Jesus said to Love as Yourself.

It would also work to extort them and the other political friends for hire, into making it a twenty-five mile wide right of way, and plant native species. Monsanto has killed almost a billion Monarch Butterflies this year. A migration trail from Canada to Mexico, would protect the wildlife, and buffer the climate.

Global warming is good for more than trolling on the internet. If there is to be a future, we need duck ponds, water holes, and food for deer, elk, buffalo, to be part of all development. Then we need rednecks to hunt them, because over population is the worst problem of all. We also need wolves and mountain lions, to take care of the hippies, narco cartels, wetbacks, and homeless that will move in. It is the Balance of Nature.

East Coast people pay good money to shoot an elk. It is like a high price petting zoo, where bucket fed elk can be petted with a very large and expensive rifle slug. They are all going to die anyway, and we can collect $5,000-$10,000 a hunt till they die of Investment Bankeritis. That will buy more land.

There is nothing to do about global warming as long as India and China run it. We can restore the land, enlarge the parks, and have rich Indians and Chinese killing elk. If the mountain lions take a few all the better. Climbing Everest has the same odds as Russian Roulette, and they are booked for years in advance.

If a couple of people in Montana have gas wells, they can force a right of way over other peoples land to Texas. Making them pay for restoring the surface, pay for the land, habitat, will leave green stripes across the land.

The politics of global warming could be a good thing. I am pro bird and butterfly, but there are also future generations. What are we leaving them? Right now it looks like Saint Louis and Detroit.

So, now you have retreated to the position that 97% of climate scientists do agree with AGW (man-made global warming) but that they do not agree that AGW is such a bad thing. Fortunately, one does not have to be a climate scientist to know that our climate has become VERY unusual. From the warmest temps in centuries to massive blizzards (yes, global warming causes blizzards. I realize that that is counterintuitive but read the below)
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/ener ... rds-worse/

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline ... blizzards/
Also http://www.ucsusa.org/global_warming/sc ... OYnJMoa7Dk are and will be an even worse problem because of global warming.

.

As usual, you are misinterpreting what I said and putting words in my mouth I never said.

The 97% consensus is the result of a study that found that out of several thousand climate papers, of those that expressed an opinion on the subject agreed that at least some part of it was due to man, 97% were found to support the notion. It is not a 97% consensus that it is mostly due to mankind or even largely due to mankind, only that at least some small piece of it is due to mankind.

One shouldn't need to be a climate scientist to know that the weather is always unusual. Sure, it's a little cold today, but so what? It's also been much milder the last few years as well in several respects. If I had a choice, I would certainly choose fewer and less serious hurricanes and fewer tornadoes like we've seen the last few years than I would a few days of colder weather.

To claim that "our climate has become VERY unusual" borders on absurdity. If you knew anything about climate, you would know that climate and weather are not the same thing. A few years or less does not determine the climate.

The bizarre thing is that it so many on one major side of the issue decry complain when those on the other major side point at a few days or weather and make stupid comments about it being climate and then turn around and do exactly the same.

For what it's worth, I started out quite worried about the climate. Once I slowed down and actually looked at it with a calm head, my view changed from being scared of it to being in favor of it. I have never been on the side of claiming that there is no problem with Global Warming although I have pointed out that the actual weather of the last few years hardly meets the projections of Global Warming that we have seen.

It has long been known that global warming leads to an increase in sexual violence, which is why Rajendra Pachauri has been arrested for sexual harassment. This underscores the seriousness of the situation, and the need to act now before more women are molested by old men.

NOPE!
“Second, we did look for papers that quantify the human contribution to global warming, and most are not that specific. However, as noted above, if a paper minimized the human contribution, we classified that as a rejection. For example, if a paper were to say "the sun caused most of the global warming over the past century," that would be included in the less than 3% of papers in the rejection categories.”

………………..
“One shouldn't need to be a climate scientist to know that the weather is always unusual”
Eric76
Now you are just being silly. If everything is unusual then nothing is unusual. And the current climate IS UNUSUAL! According to the Milankovitch cycles we should be getting cooler and yet we keep getting warmer. So much so that we keep breaking records! Also, the intensity and frequency of storms is very unusual. You really need to keep up on what is happening!

The CLIMATE is unusual. I am talking about centuries of warming. I am not talking about day to day weather.
