That's not as bad than if they had gotten coronavirus instead. Nothing is worse than coronavirus.

The Diamond Princess is a puzzle. My best explanation is based on the two things you have just mentioned: (1) table, and (2) human throat.

Some sick passengers are the engines for generating the virus. It then propagates as aerosol and populates the vents. Unfortunately, the condensation turns the aerosol into droplets. The droplets then land on table surface. If this happens only during a few hours, that's no big deal. But when it happens day after day, the table surface begins to acquire high concentration of the virus. (Droplets do re-evaporate, but the virus can stay on the surface for a long time.) I think that's how the virus propagated inside Diamond Princess and infected passengers in other rooms.

This virus does not seem to infect through aerosol. There are plenty of hospital workers or close relatives of patients that never got infected. Even if someone could get infected through aerosol, the probability must be very low. However, when aerosol is converted to droplets in the air duct, it then becomes possible for the virus to land on all surfaces, and start to grow in number through repeated landings.

That would be great, except that the people who are already taking Hydrochloroquine for autoimmune disorders have decreased immunity, they are more at risk if they come into contact with Covid-19, and the drug won't help them recover because they're already on it. I hope there is another cure for those people.

Where have you got that information from? I am just wondering.

Hey, Trump told them it would work. It couldn't have been that Trump didn't know what he was talking about, could it? Trump is a very stable genius after all, the MOST STABLE GENIUS IN THE WORLD!

Quote:
Nigeria records chloroquine poisoning after Trump endorses it for coronavirus treatment

Health officials in Nigeria have issued a warning over chloroquine after they said three people in the country overdosed on the drug, in the wake of President Trump's comments about using it to treat coronavirus.

A Lagos state official told CNN that three people were hospitalized in the city after taking the drug. Officials later issued a statement cautioning against using chloroquine for Covid-19 treatment.

US President Donald Trump claimed at a White House briefing last week that the Food and Drug Administration had approved the "very powerful" drug chloroquine to treat coronavirus.

"It's shown very encouraging -- very, very encouraging early results. And we're going to be able to make that drug available almost immediately. And that's where the FDA has been so great. They -- they've gone through the approval process; it's been approved. And they did it -- they took it down from many, many months to immediate. So we're going to be able to make that drug available by prescription or states," Trump said.

He added: "Normally the FDA would take a long time to approve something like that, and it's -- it was approved very, very quickly and it's now approved, by prescription."

However, the FDA after the briefing issued a statement saying it had not approved the drug for use against Covid-19 and is still studying its effectiveness against the disease.

If those three people had overdosed on chloroquine after the FDA approved it that would have made all the difference.

Pretty close. Every day I thank whatever gods may be that this is occurring when we have the most competent president in decades in the White House.

If the FDA approved it, then you would have dosage guidelines and guidelines for what conditions to use it for. As it stands, Trump either lied or didn't know what he was talking about, and I can tell you this, this is by no means the first time.

This is what liberals hate so much about Trump, he just runs and runs his mouth, acts like he knows everything, and in reality he's either lying or doesn't know what he's talking about. Liberals know that politicians will sometimes get things wrong or put a spin on something, but Trump really takes the cake. I know a lot of conservatives don't care, because all they care about is "owning the libs". They love that liberals hate it, they love to see liberals distressed and annoyed.

So it looks like you're glad that Trump essentially misled a bunch of Nigerians into poisoning themselves. I wonder, could it have anything to do with the color of the average Nigerian's skin?

The government, here in Oz, closed some business as a direct result of mostly young people disregarding health recommendations.

Well, that is simply blatant nonsense.
How could *he* be "the MOST STABLE GENIUS IN THE WORLD!",
When I am. 8O

But seriously,
I'm getting the impression that Trump's policies are losing cohesion.
He seems to be all over the place.
Understandable, when you consider the complexity of the situation.

Scott Morrison and the other state premiers seem to be at odds with one another also.
I think you really do need to be a rocket surgeon, in this case.

Interesting.
We are now being told that very young kids don't even spread the disease.
I sincerely hope that is the case.
I was under the impression they were worse than cats in spreading disease.

If correct, it just shows that even the best of us can get it wrong, sometimes.

2019-nCoV under a microscope. Looks like a fuzzy sea sponge or some other aquatic creature. Just imagine, it has no idea of the harm it's doing. It's just trying to live its life, like you and me. It's kinda cute. I want a covid plushie.
