The DA should be fired, and the chief investigators, on the case should also be fired. i mean i knew this guy was a lier and just wanted the attention the moment i saw him. what a freak. its a sad day when money talks louder than the law. the media has always been like that though brah, there fear mongers, and all they do is jump from one horrific story to the next. wich is why i rarely watch the news unless its local.
Shortly after he was named by the media as the little girl's murderer, the DA and police force was cautioning that it was quite probably not him. If you look, the majority of the articles have at least one statement from the police and/or DA cautioning not to jump to conclusions. They have to check out every lead though, and he would have been brought back to the US anyway because of the other charges. If anything, it was the media's fault. They blew it completely out of proportion. The DA and police force were just doing their jobs. If they had just let him go without conclusive proof to undermine his confession they would have been in a world of trouble.
