Whitney Houston died and I DON'T CARE!
I believe it's typical for people to not feel much at the death of someone they have no connection to, NT, Aspie, or otherwise.
Being disrespectful or rude about it a different matter, but still not necessarily sociopathic.
Whatever. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I'm not disagreeing with yours on that.
She got addicted to drugs... that's a shame. Over one thousand young men died who were more than twenty years younger than her in order to fight the war against terror. But hey, she sang songs, I'm sure that's deserving of even more mourning than an individual soldier. We see her name plastered on the television for weeks after she dies, but when fallen Staff Sgt. Quintana (for example) died, you saw two or three news reports that evening mentioning him. Nothing more.
I don't understand the purpose of saying something negative about someone who has passed away for any reason. Everyone mourns the loss of soldiers whereas not everyone, like yourself, cares when a celebrity meets their fate.

No one here can possibly know if she was actually a drug addict, it is possible for people who aren't addicted to drugs to overdose. But if she did have an addiction how is anyone going to know how she felt about it unless they talk to her. Lots of artists have addictions that does not mean they are totally miserable 100% of the time. Just look at Ozzy, the guys been abusing drugs since the 60's and even so he's made a lot of good music which has meant a lot to a lot of people.
I just feel like its better to focus on what someone did with the time they had, rather than how much time they ended up having.

Maybe you aren't familiar with Whitney Houston. Her drug addiction and problems have been very well documented and people who do drugs to that end have problems and pain they're trying to cope with. I don't wish to argue the matter further. Take care.

I'm trying to make my argument clear, I don't hate Whitney Houston. You're fixated on that. I'm fine with her, she made good music. But my whole rant is against celebrity worship. I think the same think about Steve Jobs, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, etc. Sure, I owe Steve Jobs a lot since I love my tablet and iPod, and Michael Jackson's music is pretty good, but when they died, I didn't mourn profusely, in fact, I didn't mourn at all.

I never said you hated anyone. I don't know you. I just found this thread offensive. Lots of other people are fine with it so you're in good company and shouldn't have any gripes there.

Thanks for the diagnosis, Dr eigerpere.

I am pretty sure I know a sociopath, main thing is just don't set the guy off.....other then that he's chill. And I would say people are bound to be offended when one seems to be mocking a death, and since that is rather sociopathic in nature well there you have it.

I liked her. I can't stand how judgmental people are. What I am concerned about is how little the business people that surround the artists care. Instead it's happy times for them over greed.
I watched this video and was appalled by Peter. Who is he to judge when he's used drugs. He also is training his grand kids to use guns to get Obama. My guess is he's a racist. Hollyweird are full of hypocrites and sociopaths.
Her body was still upstairs and they are living it up, being chipper and partying.

You know, sometimes people act like using drugs is the worst crime one can commit....when the truth is most people use or have used drugs. hypocrisy at its finest.
