What can I say. Many Scots have been seeking Scottish independence from the UK, in an almost entirely peaceful manner, for many years. In 1997 we got a devolved parliament and by 2014 we will get a vote on independence. So far, Northern Ireland don't even have a devolved parliament, only an assembly, which is often suspended and has less power than our parliament. Where has all the bombing got them?

It has not gotten them any where but the UK would still not allow them to be united. Even if they took a peacfule approach to gaining their independence from the UK.
